customer service was great! the staff greeted me and informed me about every little detail, process was slow but at the end it was worth it bc it was just amazing! I got Dobie the young guy, he was delightful even though my palms were sweaty bc yes I have anxiety. well despite that he was amazing and he treated me well, the rest of the staff were funny :-) and Dobie deserves a race in his payment (no I'm not saying that bc he's cute) but bc he was patient, kind and respectful. most people would be rushing and would be calling me out bc my palms were sweating like at B & Js nail salon. anyways Dobie was wonderful bc he was always respectful to both me and my mom, even after we'd make him walk and re-do our nails bc of one dumb move that'd we make. the front staff were absolutely nice and they'd offer us water and it was totally complimentary. Horrible place to go. I will never go back after they damaged my real nails. I have never received such a bad, neglectful careless service before, anywhere else. And the treatment they gave was horrible. It was like they really believed they owned the world and the attitude the owner gave me was just that, horrible and he was angry that I spoke up about the lady who did my nails. He even threatened my fiancé and I and said if we didn't pay he was going to throw us in jail. I didn't pay. Why pay for a s**tty service after they ruined my real nails I worked so hard to grow!?! They lost money thinking I was going to give in and pay for their horrible work and mistreatment. I'm no push over and I definitely will not stand for this. Honestly this paragraph won't even do this place justice. I 110% LOVE THIS PLACE. This was my very first time. You have to come here. Finally a boutique nail salon that cares about your nail health and doesn't make you feel like another number. I got a manicure and they removed my SNS dip powder. Everything was clean, sanitary, and done with attention to detail. The nail techs are friendly, knowledgeable, and meticulous. I will definitely come back and already made my follow up appointment after the one I just had. They care for your nails like no other place I've been! This is my go to place now and I'm never leaving. I didn't know till I paid but my first manicure was free! So nice of them I was entirely blown away with the entire experience. This is the best place to get your nails done. Philip and his wife Kelly are great. They have the best customer service and unlike other nail salons they interact with their customers. I wouldn't go to any other person to do my nails besides Philip. There are people who have bad experiences everywhere but the ones that had one at solar nails may have came in looking for one and just wanting something to complain about to get out of paying. This is a great place to go and i wouldn't worry about some of these bad reviews before you take those into consideration you need to go and see what you think yourself. Actually became a member of Yelp to recommend this salon. My wife and I just moved here from the Fort Worth area and we were in search of a nail salon. This location was near our home and we decided to check it out. We were adhered to as soon as we entered the door. We were greeted and offered drinks and seated immediately. My wife had a guy named 'We' do her nails and he was very talkative and friendly. I had a woman named 'Tiffany' do my manicure and she was very polite as well. I've been going to solar nails on new road since I moved to Waco 5 yrs ago and the only person I have do m nails, eyebrows, pedicure or anything is ms kim. everyone there is so nice, polite and th whole at must fear is relaxing. Ms Kim takes her time and that's what I like about her. I showed her a picture today of how I wanted my nails and the looked just like the picture. Was told of this place by my sister and decided to take my daughters for a mommy date. First time customer and was very impressed! The staff were very good and patient with my daughters. Both my girls got pedis- and manis. It's was 35$ each and I got their nails with gel paint. I didn't feel rushed and I loved their cute little princess chair for my 4 yr old!!
