Mr Yoo was very helpful in explaining the tint law and the recommended shade. I explained it was my parents car and he assured that certain shades would be best so that it is still safe for them to drive at night. The job took as long as I expected, roughly 4 hours, and he even threw on a sunstrip at no cost as a service. I previously had my own car tinted in CA but I would 100% recommend these folks over CA. They did a great job. I believe the owners are a husband and wife combo-- and they were extremely friendly and informative. I tinted 2 front windows in ceramic with the off brand and I couldn't be happier. As far as tinting quality, the gentleman did a great job and completed the task while I waited. I got their on a Friday morning at 11a and was out before noon. This place has a huge selection of 3M, llumar and the off brand. The off brand is more than fine and actually has a better rating than llumar. If you're not going with 3M, might as well save a bit and go with off brand and ceramic. I impulsively brought my car in for a quote after a recommendation from a friend and was immediately greeted and walked through the whole process. Although I had done a lot of research, I still wasn't quite sure what I wanted or the difference with each one. They took the time to explain each option to me, showed me how each tint looks, and allowed me to feel the difference in heat with each tint. What I really appreciated at Solar Tint was that I wasn't at all pressured to make any decisions. I was told the price for each option, all my questions were answered, and I was asked what I wanted. They asked me whether privacy or comfort was more important to me and explained the benefits of each option. They gave me recommendations on what they thought would be good for what I wanted. They even suggested I think about it and come back another day rather than pressure me to decide then. I ended up tinting my whole car (5 windows- Mazda hatchback & windshield), and they still fit me in on the spot. I was given a 3 hour estimate, and they finished around that time estimate. When I picked up my car, it looked perfect. To this day, my car still looks perfect and I LOVE the work that they did. There is a significant difference in the comfort of my car now from the heat rejection, and the dark tints look amazing on my red & black car. I have absolutely no regrets and 100% would do the exact same thing to any future cars at this same location. I brought my brand new Honda Civic SI 2018 here back in November when I was looking to get it tinted. I came on a recommendation from my uncle. I called to schedule an appointment, and was fit in for the very next day. I came in around 7:30 AM right when they opened and was greeted by a father and son duo, who explained the process. I asked for the ceramic tint. I sat down and waited, expecting it take a few hours, marveling at their tint competition plaques. Crazily it took them less than an hour. They did a wonderful job, no bubbles anywhere, took barely any time at all and were very pleasant to talk to. The price was also reasonable. They up sold me to the higher heat resistant tint but I think it's worth it in the long run for my wife's car. Also added the front windshield strip for $50, worth it. Had both the Prius V and Scion IQ done. Really happy with the service and quality of work. Very friendly husband and wife team. Good follow-up and service. Dropped Prius off after work and picked up late evening. Scion IQ left overnight and ready early next morning. Would highly recommend. On an important note, I like it that the tint came close to the edges of the window. Hate other places that leave a large gap between the tint and window edge and noticeable when window is rolled down. read more

I called them to find out the prices for two of my cars. First it was a lady who answered the phone and she didn't sound like she had much knowledge. My brand new 2016 Honda Accord Touring already had a tint on it from the Honda dealer but very light (legal color) so I wanted to get a pricing on how much to re-tint to darker shade. She flat out and told me (with a bad attitude) that she can't give me the pricing on removing the current film unless they look at it first. She told me that I have to bring the car by their shop so I asked if she could just roughly give me a ball park idea before I drive 40 minutes to their shop. Was this so wrong thing to ask? I'm thinking it's not like they are going to compensate for my gas or anything. After explaining VERY POLITELY in KOREAN that I live far away from them to go there just to get the pricing she got even more mean and rude and said that she had a customer and she was busy and literally hung up the phone on me. I've called one other tint shop on Pleasant Hill Rd and they had no problem giving me the pricing to remove and re-tint. What the heck! I was really upset the way she treated me so I called back anyways to get a pricing on my second car, and this time she put the owner guy on the phone. He finally gave me a price $150 to remove film and $180 to re-tint. Okay, so since I him on the phone, I asked how much to tint Toyota Land Cruiser. He's answer, " Uuuhh, what car?" I said, "it's big SUV from Toyota" , he said, "I don't that kind of car, you have to bring it for me to see it!" I said, "can you give me an idea for biggest SUV price you have?" That's when he started yelling at me and trying to educate me on how may thousands of different cars are out there and how he is suppose to know all of it? and told me that I can't just sit around and call places to get the prices!!!! WELL, EXCUSE ME!!!!! I'M SORRY FOR HAVING A RARE TRUCK!!! People who calls to ask prices are not even considered customers to them! That is the most stupid thing I've ever heard in my life. It's not my fault that he's so stupid he can't even google it to see what kind of cars that customer is calling about in this day and age!!!! How dare you to stupidly yell at a customer so rudely. If you don't know, then just admit it and say nicely that you haven't done that car before since I know my truck is not a common truck on the road so I would've understood it and maybe he can offer to call me back in a little bit after he research or something!!!!
