What a lovely little place. I read about it on a travel review and I'm so glad I found it. It's run…read moreby a young man from Vancouver and that was nice to discover. He only has naturally vivified wine and took the time to explain the difference. We had a lovely Spanish Cava and he offered a delicious taste of cheese and some bread. It's tiny, situated in an off the beaten track, diverse neighbourhood. An undiscovered gem which I know will change. We loved the quirkiness of this place and would highly recommend it.

The reviews are legit for the tasting room! Having gotten off the plane just a few hours before, I wasn't interested in processing didactics in the museo part, so we went straight to tasting, where we were welcomed warmly! €8 gets you a delicious tinto, 3 ages of Manchego (aged under 3mo, 6mo, and older than a year), plus pepper jam, olive butter, almonds, breadsticks, and pheasant pâté on Melba. It was all delicious, and very filling after hours walking through the city. There was an upcharge for more expensive wines but I wasn't interested so glad we stuck with the basic tinto, which was the best tinto I had the whole trip (and I had some very good ones). The bathrooms were clean and helped so much as travelers not staying the night in this city. We went to the counter to pay our cuenta and our server (who had been so friendly and kind throughout our experience), got out here balloon animal kit and my son insisted it would be a dog. I knew better what would come from Toledo; I was right, a sword! My son had a ball with his balloon sword, until the inevitable (but that's how you know you had fun). You definitely need to stop here and taste Toledo before you leave all its beautiful sights!

The rosé was not sweet at all and they were all super smooth! The cheese with the olive oil and pepper jams were divine - we had to buy some to take home. The museum was lovely as well. The overall experience was great. Our server explained everything very well, was super friendly, and added to the overall comfortable ambience.

We started our tour with Granado, one of the owners, on the terrace for a glass of wine before we started our tour. The terrace is up on a hill and overlooks the rolling hills and their vineyard. Most of the ladies in our group were swooning over Granado because he is very handsome. I was mostly concerned with just sampling the wine and checking out the property. After we enjoyed one glass of wine we went down into the room with the big vats used for producing the wine. The next stop was the cellars where the wine gets stored in oak barrels before it gets bottled. We visited the bottling room and then another cellar underground for storing the bottled wines. After tasting a few of their varietals and taking a tour of the winery I would definitely recommend visiting if you are with someone who is fluent in Spanish. I personally love red wine and I thoroughly enjoyed each one. I took photos of a couple of the bottles of the wines I sampled and the grounds. Call ahead of time to make a reservation and hopefully Granado will be the one to take you on your tour.
