The same evening, I received a written estimate with a price we thought reasonable, with very detailed instructions on how the job would be done. When scheduled, the foreman, Adrian Z, walked around the house with us to be sure he knew everything we wanted painted. The painters, Abraham and David, came as scheduled and power-washed all surfaces so clean they didn't look like they needed painting. Showed up late the additional day for painting and baseboard installation. Took a 50% deposit for the ceiling fan installation and didn't show on the scheduled day. No call, no responses to numerous phone calls and emails. My husband took the day off of work to meet this guy. Claimed to be a professional painter but left many paint drips on the wall, got paint on the ceiling which required my husband to repaint the WHOLE ceiling, messed up our carpet when installing baseboards, and didn't finish final touches on baseboards. Left nails exposed and didn't put back the door stops. Not to mention leaving our room with sawdust and specks of paint everywhere. Over priced.

They offered a flat rate for the drywall which I consider more than fair, as I live in an older house that has extra thick drywall to where you would have to shim it or double layer it for it to match the rest of the drywall so I knew no matter what it would be more expensive to fix than a standard thickness drywall. He did a fantastic job flowing the spackle/mud on the patch to where I would not have to sand it at all, which I was so happy with!
