    Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte
    Carrie C.

I hadn't been here in awhile but I decided to pop in since in was eating next door and was just curious. This place has gone through a transformation since the many moons I've been here! New seating and decor, wood accents everywhere. It looks nice and clean. The menu is also more extension with lots of coffee, tea and matcha options. Instead of just the pastry options they have a several options for sandwiches and burritos, which I appreciate so much. Every single coffee shop in Cerritos only has a pastry display and sometimes I need more than that in the morning to get and go.! Staff is always friendly and I always see people hanging out with their laptops. It's a good vibe.

Ambiance: it's a cozy coffee shop located in a shared plaza with limited parking, quite spacious and comfortable inside Service: friendly staff, patient with requests, and good barista art works Drink: they have seasonal items and signature drinks on their menu beyond regular drinks CREME BRU-LATTE - **** House-made sea solt caramel latte with torched brown sugar on sweet cold foam, creamy and caramelized topping and sweet taste, recommend MATCHA MEADOW - **** House-made lavender and vanilla ceremonial grade matcho latte sprinkled with woodfire sea salt, smooth and rich in flavor, recommend Price: solid quality, although it's on the pricey side, expect $9 per drink including tips

I was trying to pass some time for an appointment at 7 pm. Found Solid Roasters near the area and went here to chill. It's located in a plaza with other businesses; it was busy at the time I went. It was moderately busy at the time with a brief wait before ordering. There were various seating arrangements that were accommodating to smaller and larger groups. They do have WiFi available at the front. Restrooms are located in the back. From browsing the menu, lots of items caught my eye. However, I decided to get their house special. It wasn't looking for anything sweet and this met the expectation. American Express is accepted here as a payment option. Overall, it was a good spot to chill and makes a good working spot as well.

This location was on my bookmarks for a while! Finally decided to check it out today! It's located in a plaza which has plenty of parking! Upon walking in I noticed the amount of tables they had! Definitely seems like a great study/hang out spot. They have a great selection of drinks and they also have some food items. They had 1 employee when we arrived & even though she was busy, she still greeted us kindly & with a smile! I tried the peel me a latte with oat milk which was so good and the foam tasted like real banana, not artificial. The only thing I wish is if it was a bit less sweet. Not sure if you can add an extra shot or less sweetness but regardless, one of the best banana lattes I've tried!

My husband and I have been going around to a bunch of coffee shops recently and he has recently purchased an espresso machine, so he needed beans and therefore we came here lol. The service was really, really friendly! We were browsing beans right when we got into the store, and the cashier at the front noticed us doing so and gave us a sample of one of the bag of beans we were staring at! We got to chatting with her a bit about our latest espresso machine purchase and various bean flavors. We picked up a 20oz bag of Shubuta beans because it was the safest options (neither of us are that familiar with different coffee notes/flavorings) which was around $20. We also got a large vanilla bean latte for $7.20 + tax, and a free house brewed coffee with check-in. We really didn't like the house brewed coffee all that much, unfortunately, but I think this is a matter of preference. Neither of us just drink black coffee straight up without milk or a bit of sugar. The vanilla bean latte was solid. It was hot, slightly sweet, but there was a bitterness to it that I didn't love. I thought it was fine, and certainly pricey for what it was. Would still like to come back to try their other coffee or tea lattes in the future, though. Interior of the store is really spacious, with a decent amount of seating.

We ordered an iced latte and an iced Americano, and both were good--nothing extraordinary, but definitely above average. The drinks were well made and enjoyable. This time, the service was excellent, which made the experience even better. Overall, I'm glad we came back again.

My husband and I have been trying to go to more local coffee spots on the weekend so we decided to stop by Solid Coffee Roasters on a Saturday morning. The store is very unassuming on the outside but the ambiance inside is modern and cozy--very aesthetic overall. The menu is pretty large with a large variety of seasonal, signature, and classic coffees alongside a variety of teas. They also have light breakfast items on their menu which sounded delicious as well. I ordered the sencha cold brew (which is a summer seasonal item) and my husband ordered the v60 pour over. The cold brew was very unique and refreshing! If you like the flavors of green tea, I think you'd enjoy this. My husband was also impressed by his pour over and liked how he was able to taste all the different notes to his coffee. Service here was friendly. Overall, this is a good coffee shop and I'd recommend it!

    Ube latte

Been going to Solid for years now. I've probably tried everything on the menu. My recent favorite is the Ube latte. The staffs are so friendly and welcoming. It's got enough space for a study/ work session or catch up with friends. Free parking lot, free WiFi, strong AC during summer, and delicious food items as well. 5/5!

Groovy Gorilla and the Butter Croissant
    Christina S.

The barista with the pink and black hair was so sweet and she definitely seemed very experienced and lovely. She let me know all the syrups are made in house which I appreciate! I do wish there was a sign or note something saying the kitchen closed at 2 but that's okay. I had the Groovy Gorilla because I love peanut butter and banana and I know its hard to make a peanut butter coffee because the peanut butter always comes out in chunks but it did really well with not doing that! This is actually the first time I've had a peanut butter coffee with mixed peanut butter! The ambiance was so good and matched the coffee as well. The only thing was the prices were a little much but I think it did pretty well justifying it.

Such an apt name for this coffee shop! There's a lot of space to sit and hang out if you want to with plenty of power outlets. The coffee here is pretty SOLID, although I just got a drop coffee. Free refills on drip when you dine in. The pastries are provided by a local bakery in Long Beach called Nonna's. My kids enjoyed their croissants. Friendly staff and they're pretty quick

The place was packed for a Saturday afternoon. I tried their Ferrero Roche latte. Honestly it tasted like regular coffee. The guy said that it had some of the chocolate in there. I didnt get it until the end and it was barely anything. The drink was good, but not what I would get again. My brother got some banana matcha drink which I preferred. He said it was the ceremonial matcha which was really good.

Such a cute cafe to study/work from ~ definitely a hidden gem in OC/LA! I'm surprised they're not more popular given their spacious seating & aesthetic interior. I would visit more often as a wfh spot if I lived closer :-) ORDERED: - Blueberry Matcha - my fave! loveee the strong blueberry flavor - Blueberry Latte - second favorite, caffeine slightly overpowers the blueberry - Strawberry Shortcake Latte - could use more strawberry but still so yummy - Sencha Green Tea Cold Brew - mainly unsweetened tea - Pink Lady - super refreshing & the perfect non-caffeinated drink - Pineapple Fizz - not the biggest fan of tonics, tastes like a fizzy diluted sriracha... - Breakfast Sando - egg mcmuffin dupe but something you can make at home tbh

I stumbled upon this coffee shop while running errands and instantly wished I lived closer! I ordered a pumpkin latte, and wow -- it was unforgettable. I live about 30 minutes away, so I haven't been able to try their other coffees yet, but if the pumpkin latte is any indication, everything must be amazing. Can't wait to come back!
