Very good! Happened by here on a visit to the Battersea Power Station and was pleasantly surprised by what could maybe be best described as "Better Nandos" (with all due respect to the Nandos down the hall!)
At first glance it doesn't look like much. You're in a mall, the place is nice enough but still pretty basic, and your first impression of the decor might be something akin to a sanitized provincial place I'm sure you can find in any big retail megaopolis. However, the moment you glance at the menu you'll notice that there is something interesting happening here with the combination of some standard meats grill with Spanish, Portuguese, and Argentine influences.
The food itself is simple, pure but very tasty. We tried the chicken and steak combinations, and both were grilled just right with sublte Latin flavors that really made the meat pop. The generous amount of chips (thin cut as I prefer them) were seasoned with a bit of salt n 'citrus that gave each bite a bit of tangy zip that didn't require any ketchup or mayo. We also tried some beef croquettes which were cheesy, savoury - a perfect beginning beef bite for an overwhelmingly meaty meal.
Service was O.K. and felt very much like it was still getting into the swing of things from having recently opened.
