I came here in the morning as the store was about to open and met one of the staff members out the front who said the boss was running late. Over the next 15 minutes I talked with her and she was one of the most genuinely lovely people I've ever met. She knew everybody on the street, they all smiled and said hello to her and after the boss didn't turn up she offered to drive my hayfever tablets to my workplace. How's that for service! For a genuinely helpful pharmacy on one of the prettiest streets in Melbourne (or village as she called it - street) go to Maling Road Pharmacy, you'll leave feeling really happy.

This might mean pottering along Chapel Street for an hour or two before you can get served but no one ever has complains about that. Once you're in, you'll not only get the dedicated service of a nail specialist (or sometimes two) while you sit back in the large, comfy massage chairs and indulge in a little me-time. The use quality OPI nail varnish and have a wide selection of services including acrylic and nail art. A mani and pedi cost just $45 - definitely worth the visit! I'm a regular at this place and I've never had a bad experience - which is very important since some places charge the earth and you still end up being served by a pompous, know-it-all who can't stop yacking or worse still, the lazy TV addict who just can't seem to focus on your nails. I was introduced to this place by winning a silent auction and there were a few vouchers in there. 1 X massage, 1 X naturopath consult and a bag of their re-calm tea (which is delicious). They host lots of seminars for clients and the local community and all staff seem very friendly. I organised a massage for a friend to de-stress and while waiting at reception on a Saturday morning clients trickled in consistently and were always met with a smile. Plenty of parking here and great feedback about the massage so I have booked my naturapathy appointment in and will update once completed.

I booked Dr Saiqah Shamshad online and didn't know who to expect as I don't know Indian/Pakistani names. The booking was confirmed via email. There was enough parking along Victoria Street for a short appointment (and great coffee next door). The centre is squeezed in amongst other shops, a simple but clean reception area where we were welcomed and called in less than 10 minutes. Dr Saiqah was female, which pleased my pain fearing daughter, and turned out to be very nurturing, caring and knowledgeable DR. She completed what wr were after and we left feeling very happy we had found her. If she is a true representation of the rest of this practice we would highly recommend going there when in need.

I then googled and found this amazing clinic in the middle of Brunswick called Victoria Street Medical Group that I did not even know existed. I booked online. The tram dropped me off literally 2 doors down. The doctor I saw was Dr Chaudary. He was very professional and absolutely fantastic, he took time, was empathetic and ran blood test and asked me to come back for follow up. He explained by problem and started treatment. I feel much better and have made him my usual GP. I am ever grateful. And to top it all off, I was bulkbilled. In fact its a new practice and they bulk bill. Great place, great doctor, I strongly recommend it.

From making the appointment on the phone all the way through to paying for the appointment was a great experience. Friendly service from all staff, no wait time, I went right in. Dr Kaur was thorough getting to know my family history. She did the check up and it was all very professional and painless. If you're looking for a good female doctor, you'll probably find her here. I paid $86 for the appointment and was told that I'd get $30 something back from Medicare. Worth it!

I went to the Women's Clinic in the Epworth Freemasons GP centre on the recommendation of a friend…read moreafter having trouble finding a good doctor. My first and all subsequent appointments were with Dr Kirshner and she is fantastic. Dr Kirshner took the time to get to know me, understand lifestyle and medical history in a way no doctor had before. She gave me a general check up that was very comprehensive as well as addressing my specific concerns, and explained the reason behind the various tests she was doing. The Epworth Freemasons is expensive for a GP service, but for me it was worth the peace of mind. There is also a Men's Clinic in the same complex.
