Many people have found they can get both by shopping at Solutions Home Entertainment. Since 2003, we have been your box store alternative, striving to deliver home town service at box store prices.

History

Established in 2003.

When Dillard's decided to exit the electronics business in 2003, Chris Cooper and Ron Kew created Solutions. This allowed the team of Chris Cooper and Pat Parker that successfully ran the Dillard's Electronics Department to continue to serve their loyal customers. Brian Oglesby, Jared Puett, and Rick Reese added their talents; allowing us to provide custom installation of audio equipment, tv wall mounting, prewire and retrofit wiring services and installation of Satellite TV equipment. Sam Turnage brought many years of electronics sales and installation expertise and added his knowledge of connecting modems and routers. We carry Samsung, Sony, Yamaha, Klipsch, Definitive Technology, Sonos, URC Universal Remote Controls & VacuMaid Central Vacuum Systems. We have both Dish Network and DIRECTV on display and are authorized for new installations for both companies. 1st Place Readers Choice winner of Hot Springs Sentinel Record and Hot Springs Village Voice.

Meet the Business Owner: Chris Cooper J.

When faced with Dillard's closing all of there Electronic Departments Chris and long time friend and business partner Pat Parker took the big step to open their own store in Hot Springs. Together along with Ron Kew and later Brian Oglesby, they were able to make that vision a reality. We felt there was still a need in Hot Springs for the kind of work that we do and our customers followed us. We would not be here today if it was not for our customers.

I tried to be polite and say yes, (I am) and he tried to push an AT&T plan while I was very obviously upset and trying to leave. My mother was not okay and I was trying to leave. It was an emergency and for him to have the audacity to stop me... I almost hit him. I had the phone up to my head, not a Bluetooth headset. I was obviously on the phone. These sales people need to back off. Seriously.

We shopped at a lot of places and found a nice Sony KDL series at this location. Once the "Manager" stopped yelling at the other employee, he turned on a fake smile to help me. I say manager in quotes because I later found out he wasn't the manager. He introduced himself as the manager but no manager looks like a hippy straight out of the 60's and actually smells fresh of weed... the television I had my eye on was part of their sticker clearance sale for half off the asking price. I thought it was a good deal but I hesitated because the vibes from the fake manager were starting to make me very uncomfortable. Not only was he glancing at my breasts every turn of his head, he was also very mean to the other employee trying to help. As I was starting to leave, he yelled wait and reluctantly I did. He went over to the computer and lowered the price of the tv for the sale but by that time I really wanted to leave. After I got my bearings back, I decided to go back and purchase the tv a few days later if they had it available. I assume the actual manager was there when I went back because he seemed like he knew what he was doing. But he stopped midway through the transaction and accused me (or somebody else) of putting the half off sticker on the tv because it didn't match the sale item or something. I tried to explain the previous employee changed the price but he didn't believe me. I stormed out. I'm not going to shop here again. They let their employees treat others like crap and frankly they hire creeps. I didn't say anything till now because I keep finding myself bothered by the whole situation. Whoever is really in charge here, you have a lot of work to do, and I implore you to not hire hippies.

The store had a good selection of TV's that were displayed in a manner that made it easy to compare pictures. Very knowledgeable staff. The man who came out to install the TV was excellent. He got all of our electronics hooked up to the new TV. He was very knowledgeable and explained how to work the TV in an easy to understand manner.
