Tried the DIY approach for getting rid of an ant problem without much success. Called solutions and Senor Chavez showed up on time, did the treatment and the ants are gone from the house and have a dramatically reduced presence out in the yard. I highly recommend this company. I had bed bugs. Some of the companies I called said that they would need to spray with toxic chemicals, before which I must first remove everything from my bedroom, including all clothes in drawers and closets (and wash/dryclean everything). That would have been a daunting and expensive task. And each company I called said that, because the chemicals don't always kill eggs, the wholescale spraying might need to be done several times. This company (Solutions Pest Control) uses a more-current and stepwise approach, which takes into account the biology of bedbeds (who seldom roam from the bed/place where people sleep), and advised that it was highly unlikely that such an "empty the room and spray everywhere with toxic chemicals" approach would be necessary. Instead, they came-in and assessed the situation, and ended-up treating only the bed area, by a combination of physical collection, and chemical dusting. They were very professional and knowledgeable about their work. It took a couple of visits, but they were very quick to respond each time. They were also very good at calming me down, eliminating my fear (as I was indeed freaked-out by the very idea of bed bugs). I would recommend calling this company first. read more

I came to Solutions Pest Control with a bed bug problem, after paying another company just under $2,000 to do a heat treatment. The other company would not respond to me, and I was horrified to have bed bugs back in my house... I found them shortly after the other companies warranty ran out. Jason and Matt were EXTREMELY helpful, quick, and explained to me everything I needed to know to help avoid a reinfestation. Because of their expertise, I was able to make the appropriate moves to ensure the bugs were dealt with. The bugs were gone after the first spray! The other company came back 3 times and never actually fixed the problem. I was certain that I had a bedbug problem because I had very itchy bites scattered over my body. After a few days, I couldn't take it any more, and I was freaking out. I was willing to jump straight to a very expensive heat treatment of my whole house! I called a few pest control companies. One told me they could not treat my home without proof of the bugs. The next told me that he could come out that very day to spray (without any proof of bedbugs) but didn't do heat treatments. Finally, I called Solutions. I had liked their website the most anyway. I spoke to Jason, who I believe is the owner of the company. He spent over 40 minutes on the phone with me, explaining why I DIDNT need his services! First he asked me to explain everything that was going on. Then, he convinced me that I actually had carpet beetles and that thorough vacuuming of my house should solve the problem. I could not believe it. He was so knowledgeable and professional, but most of all, he was so caring. I wanted to send him a bouquet of flowers or a case of beer to thank him. I could not recommend another company any more highly (despite not having used their services). It has been over a week now and there are no more bites! read more
