My son was married last week, and they used flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms. The flowers were beautiful, and the guests did not know they were silk! During wedding planning, I was skeptical when my son and his fiancée told me they would be using artificial flowers, but when they showed me sample bouquets, I was sold. An extra perk of using SSB is that no one has to decide what to do with the flowers after the reception when it is late at night, guests are traveling home the next day and can't travel with flowers. With real flowers, they go in the trash (so sad!), but with SSB, they are returned and someone else can use them. That's a win for the couple and the environment! They look fake. Use Lings Moment and actually keep your flowers for the same price. As soon as I received the rental flowers I contacted support due to the low quality flowers compared to those on the website. I didn't expect them to be perfect but I did expect them to be better than the flowers I had also bought from Lings Moment. By the way, Lings Moment surprised me with how much better the quality was and for the fact that I own the flowers after paying whereas I paid almost the same price for the lower quality rentals from SBB. Something Borrowed Blooms requested photos and once I shared them, they sent back a long response explaining why the flowers meet quality standards, including a reason for the edges of all of the flowers being frayed. Ultimately dismissing my low quality claim . They offered a 50% refund if the flowers were returned before the wedding date less than a week away. Everything about SBB jived with our wedding from the female run company to the limited environmental impact and budget friendly nature of the business. The best part though was dealing with the great team. Trialing the flowers was very simple and helped make our decision. SBB was wonderfully communicative even when the venue spaced on mailing the flowers back and needed a reminder. SBB shipped the flowers perfectly on time and arrived earlier in the week to our venue. Unfortunately, our venue placed them in a closet and didn't tell anyone. So 30 minutes before my rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding Amy from SBB and I are on the phone looking at the tracking details, FedEx receipt and signature trying to Nancy Drew the case of the missing flowers. Seeing everything pointed to them being at the venue bu they were nowhere to be found. Finally, someone at the venue remembered the box and found them which were shipped and arrived early and in good order from SBB. I knew I made the right choice when Amy and her team were on the phone Friday evening and literally about to remake all the centerpieces to overnight them to me. Something Borrowed Blooms was better than I could ever imagine! I was hesitant to go the faux floral route and even more skeptic of it also being rental - you just never know how something will come to you. But I can proudly say from the moment I received them (even a couple days before the anticipated arrival date), I was so wrong! I chose to do half faux and half real for my wedding. My rule was anything guests could touch or that I couldn't accomplish with SBB to be real and everything else faux. I did all our wedding party faux and some additional uses with the Jane collection. The florals exceeded my expectations!! You literally cannot tell a difference and it saved us so much money going this route. The whole process so smooth and easy, too. You could change your order up until shipping date (what bride doesn't change her mind over time??), which was super convenient. We used Something Borrowed Blooms last weekend for my daughter's wedding. Oh boy!!! Did they deliver!!!! These works of art are of very high quality and absolutely gorgeous!! The "Kate" collection is absolutely stunning. I have been contacted multiple times by friends and family members asking who did the floral arrangements as they wanted to use the same florist. They could not comprehend that these are beautiful faux flowers!! I purchased my daughter's bouquet so she would have it forever. It won't be dead in a garbage can somewhere. I am located less than an hour from their office and picked up our flowers myself. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The products were neatly boxed and loaded into my car by the staff. When I opened the boxes as soon as I got home nothing was crushed or crowded. Plenty of room. They have thought of every issue that could happen and did advanced planning in prevention. I did get a very brief peek into their storeroom where the inventory is stored and all I have to say is WOW!!!!! Don't think twice about using this vendor!! There are no regrets here.....I saved at least $5-7,000 by using Something Borrowed Blooms and I will likely spend the rest of my life trying to convince people that her flowers were indeed faux! They charge unreasonable prices as well, I can promise you brides I got real floral quotes for less than the price as their largest arrangements. I used a combination of real and silk florals on my wedding day. As my husband and I hosted an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, I specifically wanted silk florals to prevent the bouquets and boutonnieres from wilting throughout the day. I was originally SO excited to use SBB for my wedding, because it was such an inexpensive option, the flowers looked beautiful, and it didn't feel as wasteful to purchase them since they would be reused. Their cancellation policy however could use some work, especially since we are in the midst of a pandemic. I had to unfortunately cancel my wedding due to COVID related issues, and SBB would not budge on their 90 day return policy. As if I am not devastated enough to have to cancel my dream wedding, to not offer any flexibility during these uncertain times seems like a really bad business model. I used the Jane Collection from Something Borrowed Blooms for my wedding at the end of April. After getting engaged, I saw their ad on Instagram and was intrigued. Not only did I love the idea of reusing something like this but I knew how expensive flowers could be! I ordered a couple of hair pieces for my hair and makeup trail to check things out and was instantly sold. The pieces are budget friendly and gorgeous. If you're up close and personal you can tell that the flowers aren't 'real' but in the days leading up to the wedding, when we had the centerpieces out, multiple people asked us why they weren't in the fridge! I was really hoping I was going to leave a stellar review after using SBBlooms... So incredibly disappointed, even after they refunded a tiny fraction of what we paid. I paid over $700 for decor and let me tell you, I could have saved half by going to a Hobby Lobby or craft store. The quality was not as good as you would expect. My now husband was pretty upset we spent that kind of money on what he said was cheap fake stuff. Not only did it look cheap it was severely damaged, flowers ripped and frayed, garlands with leftover wires and zip ties and I was missing 6 candles for my already broken lanterns. To say the least, this bride cried upon receiving such disappointing product 2 days before the wedding. Far to late to change anything. I'm just glad that I changed my mind a month before and got a real floral bouquet, otherwise I would have gone to a grocery store for a real one. From the outside it seems like this company would be a winner but it's just a good store front with cheap product that charges an arm and a leg. If I could do it over I would have never used Something Borrowed Blooms. Spend the money on a real bouquet, go to a nice craft store and spend your money elsewhere. We used Something Borrowed Blooms (SBB) for our wedding in July 2022. We used the Wren (formerly Wtoo) collection and it was absolutely perfect! We had one bridal bouquet, four bridesmaids bouquets, eight boutonnieres, 10 centerpieces (large and small), 3 garlands, two grand centerpieces, and two tall gold stands. I already had my eye on SBB for my flowers and I won a giveaway from their Instagram account for $100 credit so that really sealed the deal. I am so happy I went with SBB (gift card or not) because I easily saved 2-3k if not more by using SBB. They even came with scented paper so they smelled like real flowers. Everyone loved them and couldn't believe they were fake. We used garlands for our sweetheart and welcome table which really helped tie the theme and room together. The boxes came in time in two shipments, one about 5 days before the wedding and the other one 2 days before the wedding. When I shipped the boxes back, I lost 3 shipping labels but I called customer service and they emailed me the shipping labels very quickly on the same day. Their customer service is quick and friendly and their Facebook group is a great help where you can see other real brides post their photos using SBB flowers.
