Took a little day trip and stopped here for lunch. I had the Black Forest special which was a…read moreselection of cured meat and sausage. OH had gnocchi. Portion sizes were good and it was very tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. It was just warm enough to sit out on the terrace and the view is wonderful. Hotel looks great- thinking I will come back for an overnight and also in the high season.

The food is not worthy of the location. This is the kind of place that doesn't need to rely on…read morerepeat customers because of its tourist-oriented location. There have to be better places nearby. Out of the four of us, none enjoyed their meal much. But the trocken riesling and the Pils are ganz gut.
