Since her mother passed, I took this as a great opportunity to treat her. Everyone that has worked at D&B was very kind & responsive. They seemed to know their stuff and I didn't have many concerns going into it. However, after telling them the space is maybe not even 1200 SF and not all rooms need to be completed and cabinets do not need to be cleaned - it didn't matter. They still brought 5 people to my mothers home. Who were all making 35 an HOUR. With 5 people, I figured 2 hours of working would suffice. I then received a call at 10:30 (start time was 8am) asking for another hour of time. So my nice gift to my mother has turned into a $700+ investment. To say I regret this is putting it lightly. The representative on the phone made it seem like $300 was the "estimate", but instead, is was the "initial" deep cleaning investment - but ONLY if you sign up for recurring cleanings. If you are okay to spend $1000+ on your house being cleaned, go for it. But unfortunately, I wont be able to recommend D&B to any of my friends or family who are actually on a budget.

Betty usually comes to your house with one other person and they get the job done and they get it done fast! They usually only do the standard cleaning, such as vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, etc. They do not do a thorough spring cleaning, although I'm sure they will upon request or for an additional fee. I have a 1300 sq ft condo and pay $70 for cleaning every 2 weeks. This includes a "pet upcharge", since I have 4 pets that produce a massive amount of pet hair. :)

I've seen other companies clean and leave the details not completely taken care of, but Durden's got in the cracks and details, and even asked if there were specific areas I wanted special attention paid to.
