From my perspective as a software developer, I feel as though the man inside seen that I was black and intentionally kept declining my card at the gas pumps which made the machine hold my card of course. Long story short I inserted it into the machine at the first pump and it was stuck in "please wait" for a very long time holding my card. I went inside to let the man in the orange jacket at the counter know and eventually it came out. They do have complete control over the pumps and the cards inside just so you know. I went back out to try it again and it eventually said declined. I more over to another pump and he's watching me from inside and my card remains stuck in the machine again eventually going to decline. So I say okay maybe the card machines are down. I go inside pay for my gas and pump. Until I see another car pull up and use their card just fine. So since I seen the man was no longer behind the counter I try my card on a pump again and everything worked just fine and he looked nervous. I'm guessing he didn't expect me to try it anymore since I was already getting my gas. I could be completely wrong and the situation was just extremely ironic, but I also feel. Pulled into this station (there were zero no trucks signs in the lot) pulled off to the side of the lot (there were only 4 cars there) but I made sure that I wouldn't be in anybody's way from either entering, parking, or leaving the lot. Got out of my truck, walked to the other side and was met by a gentleman who told me trucks aren't allowed in the lot unless you are delivering. I figured this was just a warning for next time which seemed fine to me. I replied "no problem, sorry bout that" and took another step toward the store. He looked at me as if he was personally mad at me. So I asked him "can I go in and buy a water still?" "No, absolutely not" he replied and then rudely walked away. I was already in the lot, truck was empty and weighed less than the pickup trucks pulling lawnmowers that were pumping fuel right next to me. They wouldn't even sell me a water. Safe to say that a gas station I've pumped thousands of dollars of fuel into personal and company trucks over the years will now be a gas station I never attend and will tell others to do the same.

Good prices on the drinks in the cooler (for a gas station) the store may be a little dated, but it's clean and easy to maneuver.
