We heard the older gentleman at the register ask the lady that was paying, very loudly, "I assume these underwear are for you?" Visibly uncomfortable, she quietly responded "...yes" while my friend said "you don't have to answer that!" This was our first visit to this store, so perhaps we were missing some context (I hope so), but this left a horrible first impression in our mouths and we will not be returning.

You let yourself in with the key code you're sent prior to checking in. There's a private parking lot in the back of the building. The antique/ vintage store front is on the main road .. my bf booked this place and he didn't read the very thorough instructions he received but we figured it out very quickly. I walked in and loved it .. i thought I could just bring my house plants and live here. The decor is vintage and eclectic and everything is available for purchase. The low black leather couch was beautiful. The sleeping area was a roomy loft space with a private bathroom (some units have a shared bathroom .. as listed in the description). Big comfy king size bed, good water pressure. There's a small kitchen with stove, sink and full fridge. There's no AC but plenty of room fans, it was 85 in July and we didn't miss the AC. My only complaint I could've used an extra towel.. but definitely didn't ruin my day. The location was central to everything.. i would definitely book this place again.

To some, a tumbleweed represents desolation, silence, or loneliness. But I've always been fascinated by their whimsical structure and vagabond ways. My obsession with tumbleweeds was rooted in Phoenix one infamous day back in 2004. Noticing a small, weedy pedestrian crossing the road ahead of us, I excitedly yelled to my friend to pull the car over so that I could snag it. Stop we did, my new souvenir inspiring pipe dreams of creating and selling tumbleweed art one day. Some scoffed at this idea, but soon whistled a different tune when Linda Katz's joke tumbleweed website eventually developed into a real online business. Now there are multiple sites selling tumbleweed chandeliers, jewelry, and more. The moral of this story is to always chase your dreams along with your tumbleweeds! My aforementioned friend recently gifted me a dreamy Tumblestone necklace from the museum shop at Tohano Chul Gardens in Tucson.
