The coffee was very good! I got the toasted coconut latte and i liked how they made it in a metal tumbler to avoid hot espresso in the plastic. The espresso taste was nice and mild, not at all burnt, and i felt the coconut flavor was just right!! I could taste the full body of the flavor without it being too heavy!! The inside looks nice and clean, definitely a great place to sit with lots of tables and the baristas seemed friendly and patient as we debated our drink choice! My only recommendation to the shop is to clean up the menu a little bit, i got confused when i was looking at because it had a latte section and a "tea mocktail" and "coffee mocktail" section which where both larger than the latte selection. I think instead doing a tea selection a coffee selection and a smaller mocktail selection would make more sense. I also wish there were a few more season latte options to choose from! Other than that, great place and worth the stop if you are sick of bitter espresso and a lack of flavor in your latte! This place does not disappoint! read more

Sonder is a little bit out of the way in a food hall I didnt event know existed until a snow-day forced me to take the kids to Dave & Busters. The Junction Food Hall is at the back of that development on the south east side of the intersection of I-25 & Colorado Blvd. Being a food hall most of the time, the large space is great for a working meeting with lots of tables and mid-morning is quiet outside of the coffee spot. Coffee drink options options are as they should be, all of the classics. I had a latte, which was properly executed. I didn't catch the bean supplier but the coffee was not acidic or burnt like some of the other independent roasters in town. 5/5 would recommend. read more

Cute corner spot in Junction Food Hall. I got the Honeymelon Matcha which was so refreshing and light. I enjoyed that they serve it without the plastic lid but you can add it if you need to take your order to go. I also appreciate the lids not requiring a straw. Only knocked off points because the parking situation is terrible. I want to go to a cafe for the cafe and not deal with zero parking or paid parking. Great spot to go to if you want a fun beverage while at the food hall but I wouldn't go back just for the drink. Too difficult to access and I went on a slow time and day. Although it's in a food hall, there is plenty of seating inside by the coffee bar and out on their patio. Ok the drinks are spectacular! This is a new fave coffee spot because they have intricate artesian seasonal drinks. I'm talking about flavored syrups made in-house with fresh fruit and herbs, as well as unique flavors. I tried an iced key lime pie latte, which was vanilla/citrus tipped with fresh lime zest. I would never think of that combo- but delicious! I also got a banoffee shaken espresso, which was a brown sugar banana drink with salted cream. It was soooo good - perfect dessert drink topped with a wafer cookie. You can tell that the folks working there really care about coffee and making drinks extra special. Prices were average and comparable to chain coffee - but this was so much tastier! They offer alternative milk for dairy- free individuals, but note that some specialty drinks can only be made with dairy. Came here in the afternoon for a little pick me up and had no line! There were some interesting seasonal menu items - points for creativity and concoctions! I stood there for a while debating what to try and whether I was brave enough to try some of the interesting flavors. My friend and I ended up both getting hot drinks and enjoying them! I ordered a honey pistachio matcha and it was smooth and creamy. I would say the pistachio was stronger than the matcha, but I didn't really mind. My friend got a carrot cake latte, and I don't quite know how you make a latte taste like carrot cake, but it 100% hit the mark. Even though I'm not a carrot cake fan, I was impressed! I used my trusty Yelp app to find a good place for coffee near 1-25 and Colorado Blvd. I used to live in Denver but didn't know about this development. Sonder is located in a food court next to a movie theater. The parking is free and easy (2 hrs). The food court is nice and Sonder is at the west end of it. The menu is simple and the coffee is great. Of course, they have all the varieties. You can also get tea, croissants, breakfast burritos, and some baked goods. There's plenty of seating nearby or in the food court. It's a great place to meet someone for a chat. I met a really nice person working there named Toby. Turned out he was the owner. After picking up a cheese plate at Mr. Miners, I made my way through Junction Food & Drink to Sonder Coffeebar. The menu has all of my coffee and tea faves, so I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. It was perfectly made and the barista made sure to let me know it'd be unsweetened which I prefer. She was very friendly and knew her stuff! While waiting, I perused some of their merch which lines the back wall. Cool shirts, coffee mugs, and fancy electric kettles... Among other things! This food hall is so cool, albeit sad now to see it empty with vendors waiting... I can't wait to see it thriving post-COVID and love that it's right by a light rail stop AND the movie theater. That being said, if you find yourself around sooner rather than later, I would definitely recommend popping in and visiting Sonder for some solid sips! read more

I stopped at Sonder because of their inviting decor and friendly hello by the two employees. While I wasn't planning on an afternoon coffee or tea I decided to order something. The chai latte (part sweet and part spicy with whole milk) was delicuous. I chose the larger 12 oz size. A small 8 oz is also available. I was tempted by decided not to buy some baked goods as well. They are sourced from Trompeau bakery (will have to check them out as well) There are many coffee/espresso options as well. They offer milk alternatives if dairy is not your thing. The orange blossom latte was refreshing and different, and all their syrups are made in house. Service was quick. This beautiful coffee shop is located inside of Junction a food hall of many options of restaurants. The staff is amazing, so nice and helpful. I was so indecisive about what to get and one staff member suggested the seasonal menu. I decided on the orange latte with a candy orange. My wife decided to order from the normal menu and got the lavender honey latte. My was so interesting it tasted like a normal latte but it had a hint of orange at the beginning of the sip. My wife's coffee had a true taste of lavender, so if you don't like it then do not order. The way they served their coffee in a glass cup was so different. We've visited Sonder a few times, even though it's well out of our way, because the coffee is pretty good. This coffee shop knows how to make decent flat white, even with non-dairy milk. I also like a coffee shop that can make drinks in ceramic or glass cups, rather than just take out cups. The place is located in Junction Food and Drink, so there's plenty of seating. (Although they don't take off the anti-theft chains from the outside seats until 10am!) I like this coffee shop, but the prices are way too high. read more

My favorite coffee spot in Denver. The honey lavender latte is perfection for anyone who's a fan of lavender. The almond croissant is the best thing I've had of their eats. They typically have seasonal drinks which are always fun and delicious to try (there was a rose latte that I wish was a staple on the menu). The service has been consistently friendly. The only problem is that sometimes, not always, the wait is so long I don't have enough time to actually wait for my drink to get made. I think this may be a problem with staff shortage - in these times, there was only one barista both working the counter and making drinks. Management may need to hire more staff. This is the only reason I'm giving a 4/5. There's a lot for parking, so parking is almost never an issue. The cafe is located within a food hall with many great options for food if you want more than pastries or breakfast burritos (the frozen pre-packaged kind) from Sonder. I work remotely and have enjoyed working from here in the mornings. There are outlets and plenty of spaces for seating. I'm sensitive to noise though and it can get a bit louder at lunch time with everybody coming in to eat at the various food stalls. read more
