One visit, where we felt warmly welcomed was all it took. We like the different areas of ministry and reaching out to those on the margins. I quickly got involved in Pub theology where once a month we meet at a local restaurant and have speakers from all over talk about anything from Racism, LGBTQ, immigration,etc. I'm a creature who loves to learn so I took on the task of co-organizing and I love it! We have met so many new people who truly have become family. I highly recommend GS!

The pastor is incredible and really presents the Word in a way that is thought provoking and easy to understand. The worship music is moving and definitely moves your soul to receive what the pastor is about to present. I have been involved with the children's church for a long time and know that the teachers are caring, and compassionate. The children are taught everything out of the Bible. It is important for the children not only to learn the typical Bible stories but also the less typical ones. The church is good at following what the Bible says, and if you are not sure go look it up for yourself or ask someone to go through it with you. Faith Community Church is really good at praying for people. With my own experience I know that they support missionaries. The church has sent out many to start their own churches. I hope that others can find the happiness that I find in this church. I love the location being right off of 31, and in the trees its great!

I appreciate the friendships we have made here and love how the church serves the community in many ways, including operating a large child care and youth basketball program. This small group is led by our pastor who shares his profound understanding of Scripture as an ordained minister with decades of experience and education in the Word of God. I learn something new about what we read together, each time we meet. Everyone contributes something as we talk about how these words from God affect our relationships with the people in our every day lives. We pray together. We learn from each other. We encourage one another in our efforts to follow our Lord Jesus, as we hear His words meant for us, to know Him better and more deeply. I grow in my understanding of how much God loves me, and all people, during this time in God's word. I am grateful for this gift of a loving community; it's an especially good place to learn more about my Savior. -kgbs

Where do I start? Flew out to North Indianapolis last week and attended service for a dear loved…read moreone last Friday (not yesterday) of this review. The circumstances although only sad for the sake of missing them dearly, but good for knowing they are at peace and at home with the Lord. Thus, a celebration of their life and a great send off of their homecoming. It still makes me me tear up as I type this, again because I loved them as much she loved life and all who knew her. With that said, I wanted to acknowledge this beautiful church and give my heart felt gratitude as to how perfect the service was, the special attention, care and love that went into it. I imagine that to be with every service, situation and in this case, funeral services is treated the same. The sermon, delivered by the pastor, was right on point, emotions were pouring out as most in attendance could not keep a dry eye (yours truly as well), that they had to keep giving me tissues. It was just beautifully spoken and reminded me that they are no longer suffering here, my regret is that I didn't call her for Christmas and that I didn't tell her how much I appreciated her for my girls (granddaughters) and that I loved her. This church made me feel it though. The drive to the cemetery, the graveside service and the reception right after was all done with TLC and done so proper and diligently. It was all done well and you can feel how spiritual and strong their faith was and is. It's a lovely Baptist Church and I was privileged to have gone back to attend. I use to go with her when my oldest was an infant and we had the honor of living with her. The people then (as well as now) treated me so graciously and made us feel at home. And I will be back to visit my girls pa pa and will definitely visit. It's such a beautiful church :) Pues, ¡que Dios te bendiga! (God Bless)

Church began in a living room and was built debt-free and has been at this location for over 40 years. We're excited about what God is doing in these last days and looking forward to His coming!
