This time the polish started peeling within 3 days so I came back in as soon as I was back from my work trip and mentioned that they started peeling right away this time and now (1-1.5 weeks in) half of them were gone. I've been getting the identical color for most of a year, so it's definitely not the brand - the only different thing was the light, she used the weak ones built into the desk more last time which she almost never used before. She was really rude about it, insisted she didn't use the desk lights (I'm not sure why - I mean I clearly remember it as being unusual and thought they didn't seem as warm as the other one) and was acting like she didn't believe me, so I kept trying to explain. She angrily said she'd do it for free - and I said that wasn't the point, the point is that I've never had a problem in all the years I'd been going here and when I do she's acting horribly about it. Like last time I left these jerks a $20 tip, and this is still how you get treated. She told me about a min in to stop talking and I didn't say another word, but she kept going on about it for a couple minutes. Then she told me not to ask for her again. My friend who I'd brought in said she'd have snapped at her for being so rude, but I just didn't say anything else and left. Never going back. Adios. Edit: The technician has now been calling and texting (even though I've never texted them) to harass me, this is ridiculous, I honestly can't believe it. What a psycho.

During our first appointment, she was alarmed about the state of my nails...and rightly so, I'll add - they were in a dreadful state after going to a chop shop that calls itself a spa - hah! She professionally advised me that she could definitely help, although it would take some time to get them into "magazine quality" state. She took the time up-front to examine my nails thoroughly and explain what she would do. (I have never had anyone do that before!) It is now almost 4 months later and my nails have never looked or felt better and they are "almost" in magazine state. In my humble opinion, they already are amazing so I can't wait until she advises me that they are up to her standard. ;) Angie is punctual, professional and her salon is spotless!
