Paid $8 for a medium blast with EXTRA cookie dough and syrup just for it to be filled 3/4 and 90% plain icecream.

Overpriced and underdone... to make a blast lazily for so much $$$ is horrible customer service.

A Cherry Limeade and Vanilla Milkshake......perfection. 2 Corndogs and Mozzarella Sticks hot and so good. I pulled in and ordered thru intercom. Food cam out super fast. Nancy delivered our food had a smile in her face and condiments in her pocket. This Sonic gets five stars on everything. I must note that we arrived right at noon!! They were busy and on the ball. A great fast food experience.

This location seems to have improved recently. I generally come here for the drinks or ice cream as those are the places where they really shine. I had noticed in the past anything fried had the taste of old fryer oil, but that is now gone. I had some trouble with app deals or ordering and that is no longer an issue either. Most of the time I order ahead on the app and it is ready when I arrive, with whatever discounts honored. So the drinks. The best thing to order IMO is the Strawberry Limeaide. Who else even has that?! It is seltzer water with whole strawberries and limes mixed in. They have that wonderful pellet ice that really makes a drink better somehow. During 2-4pm happy hour it is half priced. If you order ahead from the app drinks are always half price. I also like their raspberry sweet tea. So the Ice cream. Another place sonic excels. Their base vanilla is much creamier and has better flavor than say DQ. I really enjoy their milkshakes, although technically they are thick enough to eat with a spoon. Well the food here is ok. I mostly don't come for food unless I need a quick snack or there is a good deal in the app. I recently had their sonic cheeseburger for national cheeseburger day and it was surprisingly good. Way better than other fast food chains. The tots were perfectly crispy and not greasy. On another occasion I took advantage of a 2.99 car hop classic which included a small philly cheesesteak and tots. The cheesesteak was ok, not much cheese, more mayo than anything. Parking lot clean. Drive thru or stall ordering. Staff friendly. Check it out for something different.

I have always been curious about Sonic. The years of curiosity may have romanticized it to be more than it is. I was expecting a 1950's car hop experience. There is a reason this type of dining has died out. You are essentially just eating fast food, in your car. Patrons pull up to an order window. From there, they talk into a speaker, just like any other drive thru. Orders are brought to your car in a paper bag. Cheeseburger and tots are fast food quality; fast food taste. My cheeseburger was more cheese than burger. The real surprise is the strawberry limeade. It is a carbonated beverage. Fresh lime wedges, and chunks of strawberries are in the bottom of the cup. It is in a completely different quality category than the food. If driving around and thirsty, stopping here is highly recommended. Currently, "happy hour" is from 2-4pm. That means drinks are half off. The drinks are the shining star of Sonic.

I've definitely had Sonic a number of times in the past..but the times have been so few and far between I never remember what I truly think about their food when I get around to trying it again. Unfortunately, overall, I'm always reminded that the food is kinda meh. I picked up lunch through the drive thru of this location on a mid Friday afternoon. The service was fast enough. I was the only one in line when I first got there, once I was on my way out there were probably 3-4 cars behind me. The food took about 5 or so minutes to come out. The fries were extremely fresh when I received them (too hot to eat for at least 10 minutes) which might have been causing the hold-up. I ordered the Sonic Bacon Burger combo with fries and a drink. As I said the fries were piping hot and super fresh. Getting fries like this is definitely worth the extra wait. The drink wasn't stale so..that's always a plus. Now for the burger. It was for sure big and juicy. Problem was it was overall just kinda..bland. Nothing really exciting about it. The bun and beef combo just tasted like a generic burger..and the bacon didn't have enough bacony flavor to compensate either. It was just a bacon burger..a generic bland bacon burger. Disappointing. I would come back to Sonic if it were nearby and convenient. I don't think I would go out of my way to seek it out tho. I do remember that they had really good quality hot dogs..and their ice cream is pretty good. Probably come back for those things and skip the burger next time.

This place is as slow as molasses. The people are rude and you can be assured, if you order a shake, a drink, our an ice cream, it's going to be all over the outside of the container and in your hand. We have waited 15 minutes in this drive thru, not because they were busy. They are just slow. There had never been more than for cars in front of us. Also, they have a bunch of hidden charges so make sure you read the tiny print too. It is just small change, but it adds up when you're ordering for a group. I really just go for the ice cream products. The food is super greasy and super sloppy. I have never eaten anything I liked here. I do enjoy a good shake every now and again and during happy hour they are half price. They are thick and flavorful. The small shake ends up being about $1.50. Most places charge about $5. They can get pretty pricey with all the things they add at sonic too.

I've eaten from the drive-thru here several times, but recently I experienced some fantastic service. The girl working the drive-thru box punched in my order incorrectly. When I picked up my food, I told the man at the window I ordered a different size than what I was served. He apologized, and without hesitation, corrected the error without an additional charge. It didn't matter that there were six cars in line behind me, or that I only ordered $1.00's worth of food. More fast food places should learn from this young man's example: take care of the customer!

Cold tater tots, hard chicken tenders asked for a cup of cheese and that was cold as well. Waste of money, I wont be back.

This is the first time we have eaten at Sonic. They make a great hamburger. We are looking forward to trying the other items on their menu.

I couldn't wait to write this review fast enough. I absolutely love this place -- it's officially…read moremy new Cincinnati go-to spot. I don't get to Cincy very often, but I was in town for work and this happened to be the closest bar/restaurant near us downtown that looked decent. Safe to say I got very lucky. The first time I went, I ordered the chili as a starter and a chicken tender platter. And when I tell you I was so happy with both -- I mean it. I love a good chili. I grew up eating it with my grandma, and this one tasted like something she would have made. The cheese and sour cream were perfect. I'm not a huge onion guy, but even those worked well with it. Now here's the catch... it was so good that I literally went back and ordered the exact same thing again. And somehow it was even better the second time. They really outdid themselves on both dishes. One thing I noticed the second time around: I asked for three sauces right away, and they brought them out on a plate with a built-in sauce area. It was actually really convenient -- perfect if you're sharing with people. Now let's talk about the tenders. I'll start by saying I know fried chicken pretty well. Pound for pound, these might honestly be the best chicken tenders in America. The easiest comparison I can give is this: imagine if Cane's and Zaxby's had a kid and named him perfection. That's what these are. Sometimes Cane's can be a little light on seasoning, and sometimes Zaxby's goes a little heavy. These are perfectly in the middle with a great crunch and just the right amount of seasoning. Another thing I really liked about this place is the versatility of it. It feels like the kind of spot where you could do anything -- happy hour with friends, a birthday dinner, a corporate dinner, or even a family night out. I love that kind of diversity in a restaurant. Just 10/10 ambiance. And the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Honestly, writing this review is making me want to book a flight back to Cincinnati just to eat there again. Wow.

It was noisy, but we were able to still have a nice conversation. We got the pretzels with beer cheese and spicy mustard. The pretzel was soft, beer cheesy is gooey and so good, and the spicy mustard packed a nice punch! Will definitely recommend! I got the BRU Burger; medium well cook Taleggio Cheese, Bacon, Tomato Jam, Caramelized Onion, Chopped Lettuce, Mayo I got the tomato jam on the side because I never had it and wasn't sure if I'll like it and asked for no bun. The server was nice to offer more shredded lettuce or leaf of lettuce for my burger. The burger was well seasoned, cooked perfectly yo my liking, and to my surprise the tomato jam was delicious! Only thing is... it doesn't come with any sides, not even fries!! You'll have to add that as a side if you want fries ($2). There are other side options. Service is super good, food is good, place is clean, cocktails made well. Overall, definitely would be back next time I'm here. Sadly, I devoured my deconstructed burger before a photo could be snapped.

If you're leaving the…read morestadium area it's a 20 minute walk with some uphill, but well worth the trek to get ahead of the crowds. The bars near the stadium were mobbed. The seating is family style with long tables. You can order via QR codes (meh) or walk up to the side of the bar for food and drink. The manager came around and introduced himself to everyone and was all over the place. Helping in the kitchen, bar, cleaning up etc.. He's definitely an asset because he didn't disappear as the rush started coming in. The inside is nicely decorated and I was digging their Voodoo/skull theme. We settled in and watched the 4pm NFL game on one of the large TV's while chatting with some disappointed Bengals fans and locals. Beer wise they had a nice selection of classic Voodoo brews (we used to get them a lot in the Philly area several years ago), a balance of styles and some newer brews I'd never heard of. If you enjoy the dark side of beer the Where Our Secrets Go Imperial Stout was delicious and thankfully more along the lines of the traditional style Impy Stout. I had an IPA that I can't remember the name of, but it had a nice Belgian yeast/hop twist to it. My son enjoyed their root beer. Food wise the Jumbo Chicken Wings, roasted in house hit the spot, I highly recommend them. I added their Good Vibes BBQ "Sawce", but you can get them dry rubbed or chose from several other "Sawces". The wings were big with fresh meat and the sauce was great. The Pub pretzel we ordered was huge and the good vibes beer cheese complimented it well. The Mr. Pickles Fried Pickles were also a great choice for an app. They were a big portion. My friend had the Chili Mac and my son ordered the Lil Mashburgers - 2 little smashburgers oozing with cheddar & chippies off the kids menu. We ate, had a couple of beers and enjoyed our dinner at Voodoo before we explored more of downtown Cincy. I'll be honest I wanted to avoid BrewDog and Voodoo and experience home grown Cincinnati breweries, but we were really happy we stopped at Voodoo. Thanks guys you earned a fourth star for great friendly service from the manager and bartenders!!

We ordered extra hot wings, and the sauce was great but to make it "extra hot" they just added a metric ton of hot pepper or some hot seasoning, and it was nearly inedible. They were extremely over sauced. The fries were okay. My dry rub wings were good. It's basically self serve, you order on the website via QR code. They brought our food all at once due to that, to include the appetizer. Service was quick but we only saw our "waiter" once to deliver our food. If we had needed refills, we wouldn't have gotten them. We didn't even get silverware and only got one appetizer plate. The ambiance was nice, it's a great looking facility. I probably won't be back though, unfortunately. Just not great enough to bother going again. We did have one beer off the draft list that was good. The dragons milk.

To start this place is a "sit down" but you have to order at the bar and they bring it to you. We were a tad thrown off with that since they literally had waiters and people roaming around, didn't make sense to me. But that was just the start! We decided to order nachos and a pretzel to start the meal. The pretzel was disgusting, hard and lacking flavor and the $14 nachos was a side plate with a small portion of nachos on it. I asked the server what was with the size of the nachos and he said he though they were normal. They aren't, you go to a normal bar and for $14 comes out a platter with nachos that are loaded. Then our mains came out, my wife's salad was gross, lacking flavor and with dry chicken and my burger was decent. For $90 this meal should have been WAYYY better. We left feeling very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back.
