She was unpleasant and when asked if she had certain items she was quick to tell us the didn't have "room" to carry such small items. Then proceeded to make us feel like thieves when we went to look at some things. We decided to leave and go to another store. I wouldn't buy anything from this gal. And...the door is a joke! There is a hand written sign that says "push hard". What a joke! Just fix the darn door! Go somewhere else to buy liquor. There are way too many other places to go in Garden City.

We have been shopping at Garden City liquor from time to time for several years. I like to support…read moreNew and local family businesses. I was looking for a bottle of spirits for a birthday present. I purchased a bottle of Crown Royal XO. Traveled 5 miles home with it on the floorboard in the backseat not a rough ride went to the birthday party that evening. We tipped the bottle on its side in the box to fit it into the gift bag. When we got to the party the gift bag was half full of liquor, upon further review, the cap had a hole in it. When I went back to the liquor store they refused to do anything about it. These are all facts and if you know me, you would understand that. I am very careful with whiskey! LOL
