Terrible I will never be back. The "manager" left me sitting at a stall for 30 minutes. My pick up order appeared after I checked in then closed saying the order had been complete. When I pushed the button I was very rudely told the stall was closed (it's now 10:45p) and to go through the drive through. This was yelled at me through the intercom following this I asked for a manager and was hung up on. Afternoon going to the door to ask to cancel my order since now they weren't answering the intercom I was cussed out by the "manager" when I asked why I was being treated and talked to in such a way. After refusing to tell me his name yet insisting he was the manager he also refused to cancel my order. He needs to loose his job for talking to customers like this I can't believe I was talked to like that for a kids burger. This location was no where near time to close when I put my order in and shouldn't have been closed for another two and half hours. After this 30 minute escalation and waiting for my food I was forced to return to work and care for my patients continuing my 12 hour shift without dinner. This location constantly parks their car in the drive thru so people will think it's closed when it's only 10pm, now on top of that the stalls close over two hours ahead of the store. I won't ever be back to this location due to being threatened to have my food spit in and being cussed out by the "manager". read more

So the location I go to isn't on the map... it's the one in norman off Tecumseh. I'm sure someone will read this so I'm just gonna say it. That location SUCKS! Everys single time. I never get my sauces even when I'm charged for it. Even when it comes with the item. I never get my damn sauce. Also there's been times where I'll press the button and wait for way too long just for the button to turn off. Genuinely whoever is managing that location needs to do better. Absolutely ridiculous! I placed a mobile order and on said order was a burger and I put down for NO ketchup and add onions and mayo... order came out and burger had ketchup and no onions and no mayo. Hit the button and explained that the order was wrong and they said they would remake it. About 10 minutes later they came out with the replacement and it was the exact same burger from before... no onions or mayo and it had ketchup. Not to mention this burger was cold and just not good. This particular Sonic is ran totally by kids. They will at times close the Drive-Thru to force you to park so the Carhops can get Tips. The food is usually good. Don't buy the Corn Dogs on corn dog day. The corn dogs are fried in bulk and sit in grease hours before they are sold. The Onion Rings are not cooked properly and they really skimp on this product. They sit on the fries. The difference between excellent crispy fries and bad fries is about 2 minutes. I can honestly say that I have never had fresh fries at this Sonic. Again, the quality control is practically nonexistent due to the lack of adults. read more

Negative stars. First when I came to pickup, the drive thru was closed and said to go to a stall. All of the stalls were closed so I had to get out of my car and wait outside in 100 degree weather. Asked for a frozen lemonade with strawberry - a slush. Gave me a watered down ice and strawberry drink instead. Then I tried to get the new pickles fries and had to substitute with mozzarella sticks that I waited 20 mins on for 4 sticks. also who tf gives ranch with mozzarella? My husband and I stopped in for a quick snack before heading home when the person taking the order repeated our order back it was incorrect my husband tried to tell him it was incorrect but he quickly closed the intercom. my husband pressed the button and told them the items they missed. we sat there for 20 minutes when the carhop brought our food out the order was still incorrect. She said she would go in and correct the order but went to the gentleman across from us had handed his food back. Best sonic ever! Brina had the meal out in less than 60 seconds and it was awesome!! Large Buffalo popcorn chicken with tots and a large strawberry limeade with extra strawberry. The Buffalo chicken had tons of Buffalo sauce, which is the way it should be. Toys were cooked perfectly. Strawberry limeade was one of the best I've had at sonic ever. I wish all Sonic locations were as good as this one. read more

Went to Sonic today with my kids. We ordered cheddar peppers and they were old and obviously reheated. The cheese inside was the texture of cottage cheese - thick and lumpy. Not really a customer focused business, tried to sub a soft pretzel for the medium tots, as of the writing of this review they are the same price, but the pretzel looks better and is less calories. After the girl on the speaker tried, the manager informed her they can't do it. I'm not really upset and I'm sure they have some computer system that makes it hard to sub, but this is clearly a won't not can't situation. Gave them the 2nd star because they were nice about it. I've had the chicken strip dinners from other Sonic locations in the past and they were pretty good, but after getting home with a chicken strip meal from the Tecumseh store, I'm never going to any Sonic again. The chicken was different this time in shape and breading, and was slightly undercooked. They said I couldn't have fries because only tater tots come with it, and they were undercooked as well. The onion rings were a joke. I got less than 2 onion rings. One was about the size of a half dollar. The other one ... well it was about a fourth of one ring, I mean literally three fourths of the ring wasn't even there. It was more like a french fry. And speaking of fries, there were about a dozen fries tossed in as well, even though they said I couldn't have any. But they weren't any good anyway. The Texas toast was barely toasted on one side and not toasted at all on the other side, more like a plain piece of bread that was a little hard on one side and soggy on other. They also didn't offer gravy any more like they used to so I settled for some weird tasting barbecue sauce in a packet. They must hire the stupidest people at this location because a little kid could cook this stuff with just a little training. Oh, and the drink was not good either, it was about 95% ice. I can see now why everyone says this location sucks so bad. If you ever get an urge to stop at this Sonic, think twice and go next door to McDonald's where the worst thing on the menu will still be better than Sonic. After looking at the numerous health department violations for this Sonic, this place needs to be shut down permanently. read more

Worst Sonic I've ever been ordered from. I ordered a 5 piece chicken strip dinner with a large onion ring & large drink, 2 Toaster BLTs and a Foot long Cheese Coney with mustered & onions. When they brought my order they had 2 drinks, they took one back, easy peasy. That should have been a omen to check my order. I did glance in the bags, 1 dinner box, 2 sandwiches, 1 foot long. Here is the problem, I only received a 3 piece chicken dinner with 4 onion rings, not the 5 piece with large rings. My BLTs had no more than 2 pieces of bacon and the foot long had no mustard or onion which I requested. They also did not give me a receipt, and I live over 45 minutes away, so I'm not about to spend $10 in gas to fix their mistake! This was not my first bad experience here, but it will be my last! I went through the drive-through ordered a route 44 sweet iced tea with extra ice route 44 Sprite with extra ice and two small M & M blast. The girl told me their carbonation was out so I ordered a unsweet ice in its place. As I got to the window the girl gave me my ice teas with barely any ice. I asked to have extra ice she took it back handed it back to me still with very little ice again and Both were unsweet. I had been in line too long and was in a hurry. The girl knew I was upset. I don't know if it's lack of workers or lack or care for their work but this is one of the worst Sonic's I've been to in a longggg time. They have a line out to the main road because they can't serve people their orders fast enough to keep the line down. I've seen 3 cars behind me leave before ordering because of how long the restaurant takes to even take orders. Both of the other Norman locations never have a line this long and have workers walking outside and serving the line while a car is busy at the window. Sonic on Tecumseh in Norman, OK. I tried going by 4-09-19 and 4-10-19 around 8:30am for breakfast and a drink and both times a guy had the water hose spraying down the parking lot in the drive-through area. I had just washed my car and didn't want him spraying water all over it so I didn't go in. I called and asked the manager if this was going to be an every day time for them to wash their parking lot and was told in a Very Snippy Way that Yes, it needs to be done every day.
