I have tried to get food here multiple times. Each time in the drive through I wait at least 10 minutes then end up driving off because they never help me. Tonight there were only three cars in the drive through so we decided to try it one more time. We waited at the speaker for 10 minutes and were never greeted. The cars in front of us never moved. Compared to the other Sonics in the area, this is the WORST. They have routinely given me nearly no M&Ms in my blast, so I have to order extra, which costs me more. Recently I ordered a blast with extra and there were so few M&Ms that I saw literally just the soft serve for at least 2 inches. I went back to get a new one but the drive through line was very long, so I parked and went inside. They said they would make a new one and took forever. The new one was worse than the first. There were NO whole or partial M&Ms, just crumbs and dust. I overheard them say they were out, so I think they just threw in the dust from the bottom of the bin and hoped to fool me. She claimed she put a lot in, but they just weren't there. Finally I just asked for a refund and went to a different location. Tonight I tried to go and with how late it was (almost 11 pm) we were forced to go to the McHenry location, which was listed as closing at midnight. When we arrived at 11:02 PM, all was dark. There were 2 people inside, but they were closed! I tried to call to verify the hours, but there was no answer and no recording. Very disappointed in the misleading information. If your info says midnight, you should be OPEN! Ended up going to Wendy's across the street instead. They prob get a lot of business from customers who are frustrated with the terrible service and quality at this Sonic. Avoid this location as much as possible. read more

Both of the sonic drive thru in Modesto have terrible service! The one on McHenry Avenue have very dirty tables so slow service! So we went down to orange burg one and it was slow as well but there was only one person in line so it wasn't too bad what's going on with sonic? They need to hire some more help. This place is so disappointing. We just went through their drive through, got our order & drove home, about 20 minutes away! When we got home we realized they shorted us. We ordered and paid for a 12 pc bonkess wing order, yet were only given a 6 pc. Since it is about a 20 minute drive I tried calling but guess what.... they dont even answer the phone!! Ive tried SEVERAL times to get someone to answer the phone and have had NO such luck. If I could give this a negative star I would... Starting out I ordered 3 small drinks a fry. I waited 22 minutes and couldn't move!!! I was stuck in between 2 cars. If I could give this place ZERO STARS I would! Let me start off by saying I acknowledge this is a fast food restaurant and not to expect much but I have reached the point where the shit food and bad experiences deserve a review. When Informed them very politely the cherries were missing, they told me they know and its because they are out. When I let them know the Shakes were not extra thick, the girl shrugged and said "Well I didn't make them extra thick because then you wouldn't be able to drink them through a straw" I Informed her I knew that and that's why I had asked for spoons. She then said fine with attitude and went to fix the shakes. She handed them back to me and said "Here you go, they are extra thick now but you wont be able to suck that through a straw" I just shook my head took my shakes and went on my way. 2nd of 3 Recent Times - I went here at night to get some shakes and the first thing they informed me was there shake machine is down so we cant serve you ice cream. Almost in an enjoyable smirk way if that makes sense. I said never mind and left 3rd time - I pulled up to the window and they said our credit card machine is down so we are only excepting cash, sorry and have a nice day. Didn't ask if I had cash, just assumed I didn't. I informed her I had cash and she stuttered and said oh ok well go ahead then. In the 10 or so times I have been here in the last six months, NOT ONE was enjoyable. They are rude and almost get a high out of doing so to the customer. I will not be back to this sonic at all. My favorite sonic is the one on orangeburg. Never had an issue there and even though its further, its worth the trip! I remember the last time I went there and was gonna get a reeses blast. Went here for lunch yesterday, customer service was horrible. The lady taking my order just couldn't get it right. How hard is it to order two #1's each with a different drink. They bring out something thats not even close to the order, the girl wants to sit and argue with me telling me thats what I ordered and I have to pay for it. The couple in the car next to mine lean out and tell her thats their order. She told them it wasnt, that it was mine. I went up to the window and got the manager. After getting that sorted they bring out my order and it only has one drink. I asked where it was and she tells me i only ordered one. At this point I just drove off. Nasty Nasty food. Tatar tots always taste old and dry, burgers are gross, hot dogs taste old. The only thing that I love is their slushies on hot summer nights. She gave me a bunch of excuses then told me I could have left I chose to stay and wait. My response to her was, so you're saying the long wait time is my fault because I didn't leave. I went to Sonic this afternoon and waited 20 minutes for mozzarella sticks and a slush. The service each and every time I go there is ridiculously slow and inefficient. Terrible location. Our shakes are always wrong and the food is bad. I ordered a double cheeseburger with no pickles and onions. Of course they put everything on it. Next time I ordered the same and it was completely plain, no sauces...I just asked for no pickles and onions. Next visit I ordered two hotdogs and received dry wrinkled junk. I can't say the same for the customer service, because they clearly have a young woman who lacks any common courtesy. She was working the drive thru, and when I receive my order she just hands me my bag without a word. Can't say she was courteous over the speaker either. I even said thank you twice, and I thought I was nice to her. I don't expect much with customer service from a fast food place, but a simple thanks would be nice. I waited for 20 minutes, before I rang the buzzer again to ask them how much longer.
