Fast service, accurate order. What more do you need from a Sonic? Food was hot, drinks were cold, included adequate napkins. Service was polite and friendly. Sorry, but much better food at most every other fast food place. Tried 3 pcs chicken tender dinner, hot fudge shake and hot fudge sundee. Tenders were horible. So decided to try the new bacon on bacon burger and my husband got his usual super sonic burger. We both got med. Onion rings. No drinks and it came to $18.93!!!!! Thr burgers was cold along with the onion rings and not only that the new bacon on bacon burger doesn't look anything like advertised. I basically got what looked like a Jr. Doubme cheese burger with double bacon. The burger was that small and Costa me $9.00???? Never again...... if I ever get sonic again it won't be here in pratt... dreadful. read more

I moved to Pratt, KS, about six weeks ago from a place where there were no Sonics anywhere nearby and I've always loved Sonic burgers. My anticipation lead to disappointment at this restaurant. Every burger I have received in six weeks has been delivered to my vehicle COLD. I didn't want to believe this could be a permanent problem and I kept coming back to try again but every single burger I received was COLD. I took an instant read thermometer with me and tested the center of my last bacon double cheeseburger. It was 83 F (much closer to room temp than serving temp). How are they so consistent at this? I can't do it any more. I find I still don't live near enough to a Sonic, just to a fraudulent place with a Sonic sign out front. Shame. read more

My husband and I travel all over the USA and this by far was the worst experience of customer service and our chicken sandwiches tasted horrible. I had ordered two #9 one with mayonnaise and one without mayonnaise. The kid taking my order did a good job of typing it in correctly but when both sandwiches were delivered to me in a bag, I asked if one had mayonnaise and one did not and he read my receipt back to me and said yes. I gave him a cash tip and something told me to check both sandwiches. I checked and both had mayonnaise on them so I buzzed the red button and told the kid that my order was incorrect because both had mayonnaise on them. He told me that it would cost me another $3.64 and I politely said I think that should be free since I ordered one without mayonnaise and both came with mayonnaise. He finally saud that yes, since it was their mistake it was free. When he finally came out to deliver the new sandwich to me; he asked me for one of the others. I showed him how both had mayonnaise on them and he said I had to give him one of those back. I asked why, since once you deliver the incorrect food by health codes you cannot take it back. So I gave it to him and he said so that I can throw it away. Honestly, the kid probably dud us a favor because those were the worst chicken sandwiches that we've ever eaten. They had a horrible chemical taste. I hope the manager or owner of this restaurant trains and teaches these employees on how to correctly handle situations and have pride in their work and be courteous to patrons. read more

Sat in the drive thru for over 15 minutes saying "hello? hello?" due to a vehicle that does not fit into a stall. They never answered us. If you can't run a drive thru you won't succeed anywhere else. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

They came out and asked what was wrong about the order, acting very rude. The chicken strips we ordered were cold & shriveled. It looked like they were hours old. Tots were cold and hard too. Kansas is a state with not too much in it so I was pretty excited as a traveller to see a sonic after a few hours on the road. We went through the drive through and began our order. I ordered first and after I had completed what I needed to get, he asks if there's anything else I would need. I say yes, as my partner had yet to order, the man on the intercom completely disregards this and after sitting at the drive thru speaker for a few moments repeatedly trying to tell this guy we have more to order, are just forced to go through as there is no response. We come to the window after waiting in line and inform them we didn't finish our order at all, clearing that issue up. We then sit at this window for a pretty ridiculous amount of time(30 minutes or so, I mean, this is supposed to be fast food) and finally receive the first portion of our order minus my drink. I then had to sit waiting for them for about 6 minutes or so until I could finally catch their attention enough to inform them they hadn't given my full order. Finally, after some more sitting and waiting, we're given the rest of the order (my girlfriends) and could be on our way. This was by no means a packed sonic when we arrived, but by the time we left due to the amount of time we had been sitting at this window, had become quite full(two trucks behind us actually left while we were waiting) . The food was very mediocre to normal sonic standards (which I'm not saying is high, but dude, this just wasn't good). I felt bad for who i assume was the manager because it was obvious she was trying to pick up the slack for the other employees. Just generally a bad experience. read more
