The staff was VERY friendly from the moment I walked in the door and accommodated my slightest whim. I didn't even look at a menu. I had a quick discussion with the manager, noted I wanted to try some LOCAL German food and let him make the selections for me (soup, salad, entree, desert.... all unique to this part of Germany). I had faith that what ever was brought out would be a treat and WAS IT EVER! Next time I am in this neck of the woods (part of Germany) I shall make sure this is a stop!

The service was also fantastic, as we don't speak German the host kindly translated the specials for us, otherwise I wouldn't have known about the pike. When I got it, was not only delicious but also presented beautifully. As a bonus the hosts wife is the chef! Highly recommend. Ask about the specials beforehand, as you might want to order wine instead if beer.
