I had the potato and smoked salmon soup, which was not the most amazing, but good. The soup base was good but the salmon didn't come through with the smoked flavor. That was disappointing. They offer a small and large portion of their soups; if you're hungry order a large! I ordered the small which led me to ordering french fries to take the edge off. I really enjoyed the french fries. The ends of the fries had a crispiness that only a true foodie could appreciate and boy did I appreciate it! They're not super seasoned or anything but that little texture addition was the right call on the fries. Kudos. They got that right for sure. They have tons of menu options, mainly involving potatoes of some sort + desserts (icecream, sorbet, chocolate cake, etc). (The french fries were my dessert!) They also offer lunch specials and their prices are decent. I wouldn't rush back but in the scheme of German food, I think they are above par.
