I've had a couple of very nice stays here. The area is completely quiet and dark at night, and this is the formula for a good night's sleep. Add to that a very low bed with soft mattress (not too soft) and nice fluffy pillows. The comfortable rooms are simple, modern and nicely furnished. The bathrooms are small with glass shower stalls. Very clean. After a serious long flight from Los Angeles through Chicago to Munich, then picking up a rental car and driving from Munich another 3 hours to here, it's nice to be able to check in to a hotel where the process is very smooth, warm and welcoming. It has the personal feel of a bed-and-breakfast. In fact, the breakfast they serve in the morning is nicely done with hot, cold options, coffee and tea. The checkout process had the same smooth, personal, professional touch. With narrow streets and buildings that are tightly packed together, you'll most likely be parking underneath the structure. The parking spots are small and it takes a bit of maneuvering to get in and out of them. From the hotel, it's a short walk down the street to the town center where you can shop and eat. Oh and making reservations from the States to Germany was a breeze.

We used that hotel just to spend a night during the travel. As always in Europe you need a password for wifi if you are tired and in rush you need to bother to ask at the reception. Not a big thing but annoying. For that price could be definitely better.

The mattresses and blankets on the beds were really comfortable even if they were narrow. Great water pressure in the showers and consistent hot water. The breakfast was basically the same every day but it offered enough variety that I wasn't tired of it after 6 days and the breads were actually very high quality, just as good or better as I've been getting at nice restaurants and bakeries in this region.

This is a quaint little inn/restaurant with comfortable accommodations, very friendly staff and excellent food. Parking can be a bit of a challenge as there is no private lot but... with a little bit of effort, you will s spot on the street. The side street it is on has cobblestones and a small fountain. So very cool. Highly recommend this place.
