I first heard about this place a few years ago, when my very tall husband, who never stands up straight, had to come here for an adjustment because he was walking like Madonna when she first gets out of bed. After that, my stepson, who also never used to stand up straight, came here, and suddenly, is walking better, standing perfectly straight, and looking all round much better for it all. So when lower back pain started troubling me a few weeks ago, so much so that I was having trouble going on walks with the hubby, I figured it was time to head in. Like most chiropractic practices, the fees are not cheap, however, in many cases, if you are referred from your GP, your cost is free or reduced. You can also claim the cost back on any private insurance you may have. However, the clinic is a lovely place, with some of the nicest receptionists I've ever met in my life - these ladies are so sweet and efficient, you want to stay round for milk and cookies. There are changing areas to put on the sexy little gown with which you'll confront your torturer, who will seem very nice at first, and care a lot about your problems, before they break your back and throw you on the huge pile of bodies while cackling maliciously. We have had mixed experiences with this doctors surgery…read more It a small surgery but I believe it is currently being extended. The secretaries seem to vary in quality, some are very helpful but some are miserable and quite abrupt and unhelpful given they are working in a place with sick people. The waiting room is cramped and needs a revamp. When a person is called to the doctor the name is read out via some system that uses an old phone strapped to the wall with parcel tape!! The doctors also vary in quality. There are a couple of lovely lady doctors there who are very helpful and have a good bedside manner. Some of the other doctors are not so good and quite dismissive. The maternity services are appalling, when I was pregnant, there was a different midwife every week and when I suffered problems, there was no midwife to contact which was disgusting.
