Last week I was in hospital. The experience was not as fun as a walk in the park but overall I have…read moreto say that I was very well taken care of. Let's recap this in a few shining stars. 1* For the surgeon : His name Dr. Jammet. He is kind of a character. He knows his job and doesn't like to be told otherwise. But he is one of the best. He planned for me to stay over the night in hospital. But in the middle of the planning the operation the decision was changed to have me leave at the end of the day. His words 'who is making the decision?' The nurse 'Well it's you doctor' The decision was made. 1* For the operation : I got in the morning, was well surrounded by the nurses. On the table before I fell asleep, the surgeon came to me and explained I would not be able to breathe when waking up. I was operated for a deviated septum. Everybody was very reassuring. The nurses even cheered my mom up when I left to the operation room :) 1* For the night in hospital : I was operated at 11am and came back to the room around 4pm. I remember bits and pieces because I was still under the influence of the anesthesiant. I shared the room with a girl around my age who was very nice. Every 2h all evening and night until morning the nurses came over to check our blood pressure, temperature, and give us antibiotics. I don't remember being in pain or sick at any point. It's not the best time of my life but I felt safe. I am so happy the surgeon insisted that I stayed the night. I cannot imagine my mom watching me all night. 1* For the follow up appointments : I came back 1 week later to remove the bits insise my nose that was preventing bleeding. It was quite painful, I sneezed and bleed. But the nurse was nice and supportive. 1 week after that I came back for another check. The surgeon confirmed I could breeze nicely from both nostrils. I have another appointment planned in 2 months. It takes 1 full year for everything to heal. 1* Lost for the organization : Before the operation I was told by the surgeon I had to stay in the hospital on the night after the operation. On the day, I was told I couldn't stay because they didn't have any bed. 10 minutes before the operation, the surgeon put his foot down for me to stay the night. That was stressful to me. All in all I am very happy of how it went. I would have done with a better organization but the procedure went really well. I really recommend that hospital :)

Moi, par contre, ce n'est pas en tant que patient que j'ai eu l'honneur de connaitre Dr Sophie Domergue mais en tant que stagiaire étranger. C'est une chirurgienne très dynamique qui ne se fatigue jamais, tout le temps à l'écoute de ses malades, très accueillante et humble. Ce qui est le plus remarquable chez cette fille, c'est sa noblesse de caractère. J'ai appris beaucoup de chose d'elle au bloc opératoire pendant le stage que j'ai effectué en 2008. C'est une chirurgienne consciencieuse, très professionnelle ! c'est grâce aux avis ci-dessus que je suis allée la consulter, et je ne le regrette pas ! elle a réalisé sur moi une réduction mammaire, et elle a vraiment fait du beau travail, même si je ne suis qu'en post opératoire (opération de fin mars 2011) ! Pour une opération de ce style, j'avais un peu de réticence de la faire en hôpital, et bien franchement, même le service a été super ! j'ai été agréablement surprise ! read more

Excellente chirurgienne! Étant un homme un peu complexé, j'ai subi une réduction mammaire, et je dois dire que le résultat est vraiment remarquable, et très discret! Les cicatrices sont presque invisibles.. De plus elle est très gentille, très douce, et également très professionnelle. Je vous la recommande sans la moindre hésitation. read more

Excellente chirurgienne, douce ,à l'écoute, très professionnelle. Elle m'a opérée d'une réduction mammaire il y a peu et tout va très bien, pas de douleur, en bonne voie de cicatrisation, très bon suivi. Elle est top ! read more
