The tour was so unique and informative. Our tour guide, Al, was the absolute best and we got to see the whole vineyard and hear all about the wine making process. It was the most gorgeous vineyard I've ever been to. They treated us so well with the wine tasting at the end too. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. You get a lot of food with the tasting too! It's well worth the money. I wish I could bring everyone here. I will go out of my way to come here next time I'm in Italy. And they have 3 different vegan, gluten free, lactose free gelato/sorbeto flavors including dark chocolate. The last one is one of the reasons why I have to come back to sorrento! The cafe is very small, with a counter inside the left entrance for gelato and sorbetto, a larger counter and display case of pastries along the wall inside the right entrance. Seems to be a handful of seats upstairs accessible by a narrow staircase though they looked to be cordoned off that moment. Gelato prices ranged from €3 for a small, single flavor to €5 for medium, €8 for large, €12 for maxi which I'm not quite sure how many scoops that was. The prices were the most reasonable that I saw along the Amalfi Coast in a few towns. After checking out the flavor selection I decided to go with a light sorbetto in melon and it was yummy! It tasted like if really ripe cantaloupe were made into a super smooth smoothie lol. They carried the popular sorbetto al limone (lemon sorbet in a lemon) for €10 too, though in general I heard mixed reviews about this item being overpriced. They offer a bunch of lunch-suitable menu items like simple paninis, pasta, salads and burgers; also some cocktails for €12-13-including an enticing Positano Spritz concocted of prosecco, limoncello, soda, fresh lemon zest. Pastries looked good too though the weather was a little warm for more sweets--their tiramisu cups, cookies, mini tarts and eclairs all looked like solid choices if you're in the mood.

Patrizia seated us on the patio and I warned her of my dietary restriction. Unlike most service people we had encountered thus far who were dismissive of this, she took it in stride and started rattling off options that she thought would work for me. I told her that I would be more than grateful to have whatever the kitchen would make for me. My group ordered and she brought us complimentary WiFi passwords as we waited, all the while smiling and cracking jokes. The chef--a sweet woman who poked her head out to give me the thumbs-up on making something vegan--whipped up a delicious grilled vegetable sandwich on pizza crust bread and despite having to custom-make it, they only charged me for the basic pizza-bread sandwich on their menu (€9). We were happily surprised by how reasonable the prices were compared to restaurants up the main strip that were in a less scenic location and were not as aesthetically pleasing. After exploring Positano and Amalfi, the whole group agreed that meeting Patrizia was the best part of our day. So happy we did. The bread basket alone was the first indicator - they had such an array of options and all of it was warm and fresh - the focaccia was literally the best I've ever had, it was oily and salty in itself, and so rich to snack on before the food arrived The mozzarella Caprese was so fresh and delicious. The tomatoes were perfectly ripe, the cheese was clearly fresh and highly quality. Only available in Italy like that for sure. I tried the sea bass the first night - amazing. Falls off the fork it's cooked so tenderly, and the lemon sauce, everything was perfect. The second night, i had the lasagna which was also incredible and so visually stunning, just this round pasta in layers of gooey cheese, meat and sauce. On the first night My friend had the seafood pasta wjicj she was raving about, on the second night she had the pasta trio which wasn't worth ordering. We ordered noodles and that took over an hour where is our sushi arrived in about 15 to 20 minutes so we are waiting around for a very long time being told that the food was almost coming. Needless to say this kind of ruined the meal.
