So today I woke up with a migraine. I mean a real slammer. Went along with my day and had a massage scheduled with @intuitivemassagebyalys at 1:30 from my mom for my birthday. Literally almost canceled because of the migraine. (Would've been the dummest choice I ever made.) so I finished my chores and got myself ready. Drove up there, left home at 1:00. (Husband telling me I would be late, I said nah I'll be fine ). Got there at 1:23pm all green lights, traffic flowing well, no construction or road work, just smooth sailing. Went upstairs at Parker square in waimea. Took a breath and walked in. First thing I saw was Alyssa sitting behind her reception desk with a huge smile on her face. So welcoming and warm. Beautiful relaxing space. She guides me to the massage area and lets me know what to do, she even had such a cute little basket to fold and place your clothes in. Alys Gives you time to get ready and then asks if I was ready. Meanwhile I'm wondering why the hell I put makeup on because now I'm gonna fuck her nice clean white warm cozy massage table up when I put my face in the table ‍. She came in and made sure I was comfortable and then proceeded. I was gifted a 60minute massage and a chakra cleanse by my mom. The moment Alyssa started, I could feel her amazing energy just flow and she hadn't even physically yet. She then began the massage and I was still sore from my migraine. I literally did an OMG eye roll to the back of the head. It felt so good. She made sure to check on the pressure she was applying, I could've stayed there all day . She then asked me to turn over and massaged my neck area and shoulder area and again ‍‍‍. Anyway she moved forward to the chakra cleanse and WOW!!!!!! That was literally an amazing experience. The sound bowl frequency was just so cool. She knew exactly what was blocked and what's been on overdrive probably my whole life lol, when she was done with her amazing healing, she told me to take my time and let me be. Again could've stayed there for the rest of the day lol. Her spirit and her healing energy is just beyond what you expect. I came home from my massage with my back relaxing slowly by slowly and started to crack and releasing all that tension I had from my back and neck and my head no longer hurt. Can we just...!!! I need to RAVE about Alyssa. As soon as I walked into Soul Centered's intimate and vibey massage suite I felt her warmth and instantly felt comfortable with her. I didn't expect anything less--as our correspondence leading up to the appointment she was so thoughtful + thorough. For background, I'm currently about 16 weeks pregnant with my second (and still nursing my first!) so some ME TIME was definitely needed. Alyssa let me know she had a great set up for prenatal massage, with a sort of saddle or bolster made especially to accommodate a growing baby bump. Is that not a pregnant person's dream?! (No, for real I need to purchase one to keep at home, because it was like floating on a cloud!). Alyssa was so patient and gave me plenty of time to get undressed and into place. I loved all the small details, like a basket to keep my clothes neat, a place to hang my bag in the room, lots of gorgeous crystals, high-quality essential oils, sound healing tools, and the perfect massage playlist which I meant to ask for the name of, it was relaxing piano covers of pop songs. Nothing was out of place. Alyssa eased me into the massage mindset, with a warming full body 60 minute massage and then I also added on the guasha facial. I never realised how much tension I hold in my face until I felt the gentle releases. She truly has a caring, healing touch. I appreciated her for checking in a couple times throughout our session, it was never disruptive. Toward the end of our session, she used a cooling muscle rub on my upper back where I told her I was having some pain. I loved this because I got to continue feeling relief even after walking out of her studio. Her studio is worth the visit, even if you're not getting a service that day! There are so many cute little things for sale like handmade jewelry, apothecary goods, candles, etc. I'm already trying to plan my next massage with her, I know this will be so good for my energy and overall wellbeing this pregnancy! Where do I begin?! Lets start with this was my first massage, ever! Since having my first daughter about 7 months ago, my back & shoulders have been very sore! This being my first massage, I had no idea what to expect. The moment I walked into Soul Centered Massage Studio, Alyssa greeted me with a warm welcome & showed me to one of the private massage rooms. The studio is so cute, I love the boho themed decor & they have products for sale from a few local businesses. I appreciate the calm, comforting vibe that this studio provides. I booked a 60 min full body massage with aromatherapy & cupping added on. Alyssa took the time to warm my body up & slowly worked out my tense spots & knots (and there is alot! I carry my daughter pretty much all day long). All essential oils used smelled so amazing & made this experience all the more relaxing. I am so beyond satisfied with my massage. I don't think I have ever felt more relaxed in my life! Alyssa was so patient with letting me take my time to slowly come out of my relaxed state. The 60 min massage was a perfect amount of time, I think I would have fallen asleep if the massage was longer! Loved my experience with Soul Centered. I chose to do a 60 minute full body massage with an added on Gua Sha Facial. First off, Alyssa, the owner and my massage therapist is incredibly nice and made me feel so comfortable. It's been a while since my last massage but I loved her technique and she really focused on getting all my tension spots in my back and shoulders. We also focused on hip stretching and lower back as my request. The Gua Sha facial was amazing!! My face felt so much more smoother and I could see a difference in the way my skin glowed after. She also added on these cute heart shaped cups on my back and it left a nice little imprints of hearts which I enjoyed having! I got a lot of compliments on the heart shaped cup marks after. The ambience was set to the ultimate relaxing mode with gentle music playing and dim lighting while in the rooms. Overall great experience! Highly recommend! read more

Had such an amazing massage today. From the moment I walk in I was instantly relaxed. The decor and energy is perfect! I booked a 60 min massage. Up on the wall all the services are listed including add on's to your treatment, and when you are there for your appointment you are able to add on anything extra. I added on the aroma touch with essential oils and the chakra alignment. Both were such a great addition to the massage. Alyssa checks in with you about the pressure you like and any problem areas you have before the massage. The massage it's self was great! The right amount of pressure for me. When I say at the end of the massage I felt like a new person I'm not lying . Even now hours later I still feel so relaxed and calm.
