I went to Sounds Good Hearing Aids because they sounded good from the revues I read. Mike was very friendly and professional. I was prepared to buy a used hearing aid that he told me about for my Mom for a few hundred dollars. Where she had been going said they couldn't do any more with it. I am sure others would have been happy to do just that but Mike offered to check my Mom's hearing aid first and did so while I watched. He said it just needed reprogrammed and did so. He took maybe a half hour to do this and clean the hearing aid. His charge was very reasonable and way less than he could have made selling me the used one he had. Purchased my first pair years ago from Mike..I have very unusal hearing problems and am in the music business. To say the least, I am a difficult guy to fit. He on the other hand is a very patient and intuitive individual and did a great job of fixing me up....Thru the years he was always there to solve my problems and most of the time it was just cleaning and re-explaining how important it is to take care of your aids.......Just got my second pair from Mike, unbelievable difference...knowing which company and which technology for an audioligist to work with is a work in progress and this guy keeps up..At first I was reluctant to spend the money on new aids..but after trying them out I was amazed at the difference, especially in the speach area, and there is a big difference between hearing music and hearing someone's voice....My understanding is Mike worked in the industry that bulit hearing aids before he was an audioligist...that explains a lot...This is the guy to work with...and hearing can be a lot of work.. I know, sounds like a rave review and I don't think I have reviewed three things in my life. but my hearing just keeps getting worse and his products just keep getting better..glad he's there....
