They offer a "different version" (better, in my opinion) of an Italian pizza and many tasty homemade starters. Prices are also very reasonable. They also have a great selection of sodas and so try the homemade ice tea! The cheerful and hospitable owner sure knows how to care for his customers. His sense of humor and timely manner in which our delicious foods were served, completed our very pleasant late night dinner as we were just passing through Nancy after a long drive.

I hopped on Google and found this place, that looked like it might fit the bill. The Chef/owner was friendly, charming, and made us feel at home instantly. He said he could speak in several languages to accommodate us, and made some friendly jokes to break the ice. All 3 of us ordered the Bibou (mine without chedder, unfortunately). For beverages, one of us had the graefruit soda, and I had the violet homemade iced tea. The tea was one of the best I've had! Balanced, not too sweet, and lightly floral. When the pidélices came out, they were piping hot and covered in both sesame and poppy seeds. They were crispy, airy, and almost like a pizza in a paper thin baguette. The chef brought us a tasting of the lentil soup - his mother's recipe, he told us. It was thin, flavorful, and delicate. Not what I expected, but I enjoyed it enough to order a bowl. I wished I had a baguette to enjoy with the soup. At the end, the owner wished us well and invited us back if we needed any help while visiting the city, which was genuine and kind. He has a gift fir making people feel welcome and appreciated. Overall, we had a great meal and got back on the road on schedule. It was a great stop!

There may be tourists here but also many local people since good food is good food no matter where you are from. Very little space but the service and food will have you coming back. I walked in and some university students were having a debate. I take a seat in the corner and do a little ease dropping. It's nice to watch motivated youth organizing themselves in something positive. I scan over the small menu and decide I needed some warm soup on this very cold night. My company decides on an non-alcoholic drink. The thought of leaving kept me from my meal for much of the time. The place is so inviting with the dark wood, comfy environment, and nice music. There's also a patio area, but I avoided that because of all the noise and large amount of smokers. Plus it was cold and the Florida in me couldn't take it. We just sip our drinks and take in the place while I try not to think about leaving the area. But this is the type of place you'd want to come back too. So, genug gejammert. Die leckere Suppe - sweet potatoes! (Soup is awesome!) Nice and creamy. Seasoned by not spicy. And trinkt dazu unbedingt einen Chai Latte and be thankful for the strong wifi connection. Wifi seems to be a luxury when in the area. This place is suppose to have a great breakfast but I was never here before the sun went down. Bathrooms were covered in graffiti as I'm come to know in some of the more popular areas. Lots of posting about events in the area if you are looking for something to get into but Klasse Service!

The Cafe is right across from the train station! Perfect for people coming into the city!! The atmosphere is real chill. I don't know how, but they are always playing dope music! It takes me by surprise all the time, like how do they know these songs!! However, I can't complain. I normally just get regular coffee, 'cafe crema'. My girl gets the chai lattes and swear they are the best in Trier! (They are pretty good). This is a great cafe to chill and study and catch up with friends. I definitely recommend it!

This place has its own parking lot so there were no problems trying to find parking. The restaurant is quite spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating (when weather permits). The interior has a cozy and home-like atmosphere. For both of the times that I have gone, service has been quick. For my first visit, I had just gotten a cappuccino that came with a biscuit. It was nothing too special, but the price for it was decent. For the second visit, I had opted for trying my first German Schweineschnitzel and it came with a salad (I got this) or soup of the day. The Schweineschnitzel was nicely prepared and it came with fries as well. The whole meal with the salad was very filling. The price was pretty good as well. Overall this place is a great hidden gem. The environment is warm and cozy. The service has been pretty great each time I have gone. Parking is not a problem. They have a nice selection of meals, desserts and drinks. Great place for friends and family. I'll be back to try more of the many things that they have to offer.

We veggies had a nice piece of Cantaloupe substituted for the salmon I have to point out that their Gnocchi has taken my #1 favorite gnocchi of all times & I would have happily made a meal out of those little pillows Just a bit of texture, these gnocchi melted in the mouth yet still had a bit of chew. Paired w/ truffles in butter sauce & just a hint of Parmesan, this was absolute heaven! Appetizers for all consisted of their Cream of Alfalfa Sprout Soup - Never would have thought to make alfalfa into a soup but this had a TON of flavor. Nicely spiced & creamed yet they allowed the sprouts to take center stage & really shine - I could have had 3 more of these Main courses for the Mr's parents included the Beef w/ Peppercorns & just like last time, it did not disappoint My Mom had the fish & said it was soft & flaky & she polished off the whole dish Daddy chose the Beef in a Mustard Sauce & said the beef was extremely tender & flavorful & the sauce put it over the top The Mr & I had their Asparagus Risotto - creamy, rich & paired w/ tender & perfectly al dente spears of Asparagus - this was another risotto heaven Desserts for the table included some nice coffee & their assorted cookies & homemade wine-filled truffles......perfection!
