*Updates* I just called the store to clarify. It turns out that what I thought was a spicy sauce was actually their house spread. I think the spicy taste I noticed actually came from the onions that were included as a topping on the sandwich. I'm glad I called and got everything clarified. This is still my favorite place of all time, and today's experience won't change that. - I always order the Garlic Pesto Turkey whenever I go to Sourdough & Co., and it's usually one of my favorites. Unfortunately, today's experience was a little different. I ordered an 8-inch sandwich, but the wrapping was much sloppier than usual, and there was way too much sauce in the sandwich. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile. Super disappointing! Ordered a turkey and ham sandwich with extra tomato. No tomato was on sandwich. And the meat was super skimpy. This is a good location of a good chain. My first visit here was today for lunch. The service for Take Out was timely and the staff cordial. First time ordering the French Dip which was pretty good. The sourdough break is just the right amount to provide a satisfying meal, but the not too much that the bread (carbs) is the majority of the food. A cup of the Broccoli Cheese soup made for a completely filling lunch. There is plenty of parking nearby as this area has a lot of outdoor mall around but the formation of the driving area is oddly shaped. There are about six spaces in front. There is some indoor and a few outdoor table options when seating is allowed (outside covid times). The store is clean and there is sufficient staffing that orders at lunch time keep moving along nicely. read more

French dip in the picture was fat with meat that was red and vibrant a big fat sandwich. What I got was gray meat and so little of it that the bread was completely closed on all edges. I can get a bread sandwich at home for a lot less than this place. Plus, the service was rude. read more

Five stars. This is my second time trying this place. The first time I went inside the store and the girls working were not only helpful but super friendly and had recommendations for me. I went with the Italian and Mac & cheese with bacon the Italian had so much flavor and the Mac & cheese with bacon is the only way to go foreal. Thetoday the turkey pesto (couldn't forget the Mac & cheese). Also very delicious! I'll be adding this to my go to sandwich spots for sure! read more

The sandwiches are made very carelessly. They fall apart and have no taste. I hate giving negative reviews, and try not to on an initial visit, but this place kind of deserves one after 3 bad experiences. The staff looks absolutely miserable. If you hate your job your work will reflect that. We tried a few times only to be disappointed that the food and service never improved. We wont be back. You can get a delicious sandwich for half the price and a friendly hello at sprouts down the road. We should've just went there in the first place. Lol Oh well lesson learned :) read more

Yesterday morning for an early lunch my mother, daughter and I came to this location for the first time and had a good experience! I loved their decor and the staff were very friendly as well as quick to bring everything out! My mom ordered their Pastrami Turkey 6 inch sandwich and said it was good other than she didn't really taste the pastrami. I ordered to split with my toddler their Garlic Pesto Turkey 6 inch sandwich with provolone cheese the cashier suggested, avocado, extra pickles, tomato, mayo and mustard. The sandwich was delicious and very flavorful! I would say their a bit on the pricy side, but I think it's cuz they jam pack their sandwiches and it comes with a pickle spear, so that's nice! I would definitely recommend stopping into this location, I'm glad I finally did after passing by it several times since they opened, next time I need to try their fresh baked cookies the cashier said were delicious! read more

Wow! And not a good wow! This was our first time at this specific location. They nickel and dime you for everything!! I wanted my sauces in the side. (Nobody likes a Soggy Sami. ) I didn't realize till after that they charged me $.45 per side of Mayo and balsamic. Doesn't seem like a lot but when my total for two turkey sandwiches was $30 I questioned why. They also charge for Pepperoncinis! I have been to many sourdough and Cos, and not only were the price is ridiculous here, the customer service was terrible. I thanked them for making my sandwiches and the lady only replied "Yep"! My husband wanted clam chowder so we went here for dinner. He had the clam chowder and enjoyed it. I ordered a French dip sandwich without the ranch/mayo. I asked if they had horseradish sauce. That was a BIG mistake on my part. Instead of using their regular Beaver brand horseradish they used some out of a jar marked EXXtra Hot horseradish. I found this out AFTER I asked what they put on it because it was so hot it took my breath away and I ate only the meat because the bread was soaked in that stuff. I should have asked what they use, but they should also have told me they were using the First Street EXXtra Hot. read more

Heads up.... they NO LONGER use real sourdough bread. Last few times I have thought the bread tasted different. So I bought one of their "sourdough baguettes" and sure enough, on the ingredients list: YEAST. Not a single drop of sourdough starter. No reason to go there any longer. Not your typical Bakery, as it does not carry a large variety of breads but more of a shop to grab something quick, a hidden gem none the less. If you are driving on Sunrise going 30mph you may miss it. There are a few tables inside that you can sit down at to enjoy a meal or drink (they have outside seating only- I believe but share it it with the Habit nextdoor. This was my 1st time here as I was craving a tuna sandwich. I asked for suggestions from the employee need and he suggested the sour dough versus sliced wheat. I never have sourdough bread with tuna salad but decided to go with it this time. Wow I was pleasantly surprise once I bit into my sandwich!! Sourdough is definitely the big winner here though! I also ordered a bread bowl with clam chowder. It was so delicious! I actually was in San Francisco several months ago and went to Boudin SF. I definitely prefer Sourdough CO over Boudin. Seriously!! This place is perfect for grabbing sandwiches for a picnic or hot clam chowder on a rainy day. I'm not sure if the soup selection here is rotated daily? There is a place in Monterey The Fish Hopper that sells amazing clam chowder and sourdough CO clam chowder tastes exactly like theirs! For Sunday there was also potato soup too. They also have Fresh cookies that were in a platter for purchase but I passed on those. The chocolate chip looks like it was a hit because they were all gone LoL Also, I noticed other people had some opinions about the this place. To each their own. I LOVE Sourdough & Co.! Ok, so, I was here two days in a row this week - don't judge me! So, I discovered Sourdough & Co. a few months ago and I have been addicted ever since! The clam chowder is always so good and the staff at this location is very nice and they are fast. One time I got all the way home and realized that my soup was not in the bag so I went back and they gave me a free cookie for the inconvenience. The sandwiches are great and I really enjoy the House Spread they put on them. Although, I would suggest foregoing the House Spread if you plan to add other liquid condiments to your sandwich as it can make it dry. My favorite sandwich is the Garlic Pesto Turkey, FABULOUS! Oh! My daughters ordered the Italian salad and a southwest salad. The italian salad was ok. Nothing special and certainly not worth 10.00. My other daughter liked the southwest salad. She thought it was very good. They give you a piece of hot sourdough with the salad. I ordered pastrami and swiss toasted. The guy making the sandwich was not happy. He seemed mad that I wanted my bread extra crispy. The bread was very good. Pastrami is pastrami. But he put so much mustard on the sandwich...it was over bearing. Subway is better than this ...and quiznos is way better... I have no desire to come back here again. In the past this place has been decent. Not so much recently. I went this week with a friend. I had a 6 inch cracked turkey and my friend had the French dip The bread on my sandwich was dry and hard. I wasnt feeling that great after eating the sandwich. My friends French dip was a sliver of roast beef and all bread. I invite someone to look on website and look at the French dip picture. This was the opposite. As a side note, the employee at the register clearly didn't want to be working. And the way they store there sand which meat seems a little sus. read more
