I failed to realize it was a part of the Tribute Portfolio and it did not miss at all! I felt the hotel was very reasonably priced and located nearby many local shops. The property was easy to find and parking was very accessible. The moment I arrived and entered into the lobby the front desk greeted me and made me feel most welcomed! They provided me with all of the details about the hotel and expressed to give them a call if I needed anything at all. I made my way up to the room and the aesthetics leading to the room were absolutely amazing. The room itself was very spacious and charming. It featured a nice cushioned chair with a record player in each room with a variety of records to choose from in the lobby. The room was very clean and also smelled very fresh! The bathroom was very spacious and up to date! Within the hotel property there was a Southern Craft BBQ spot which I also left a review for; it was really good, so you should definitely check it out! The rooftop bar is a for sure vibe. I received a complimentary hummus at the rooftop with my stay; I'm not sure if that was promotional/seasonal or a bonus gift upon checking in. The experience and stay was definitely one for the books and gives other properties a run for its money! I must express again, I am so grateful for the great team and great service!

Despite all the excellent reviews on this hotel, my experience was not good. If the Fairfield Inn…read moredid not have some good qualities, I would have given it a one to two star rating. For first time visits to this hotel, I strongly encourage people to closely survey their room and bathroom before settling in for the night. So the hotel seemed stellar at first UNTIL I used the shower in my room. The hotel had great reviews, so I did not think I would have a problem. The front desk check in area and our room were clean & very appealing. I loved the selection of tv shows and movies on our television. We had checked in for a late night stay & just wanted to relax before we traveled out early in the morning. Everything seemed ideal until I took a shower in the morning. I noticed there was human hair from other people in the front and back of my shower area. One was a long light brown hair in the front upper area of the shower stall. One was a short black hair on upper back of the shower wall. I was mortified that housekeeping didn't notice this immediately. It made me wonder if they cleaned the bathroom at all after the former guest before us left. Despite all the wonderful amenities, the unsanitary condition of our bathroom made me dock 2 stars from a 5 star rating. It makes me want to thoroughly survey any room we get at any hotel regardless of the hotel having an excellent rating especially this hotel. Breakfast here was exceptional with many options EXCEPT they started shutting down earlier than the 10 AM closing time & there was NO COFFEE available at 9:30 AM. My husband had to wait for them to make a fresh batch. Despite the great breakfast, I got sick from something I ate on the breakfast provided there which is very rare. I never get sick from food I eat. I wanted to give a one star rating to this hotel yet I decided to be kind yet fair.

Both coffees were empty and no creamer. We had to ask for more coffee and then ask for creamer. The breakfast caused my wife to get sick, which caused us to make an additional stop to get meds. Some greats and some work to be done. Stay here on a budget but hope for the best on quality. How does the coffee run dry at 9:45am? People are still waking up still. I know that breakfast closes at 10:00am, but some set there alarms to eat something and get a coffee.

After spending so much time in the car, it was nice to get out, stretch our legs, use the restroom, and officially feel like we were getting closer to home. The entire welcome center was very clean and well maintained. The restrooms were especially clean, which is always one of the most important things I look for at a rest stop. Everything looked like it was being taken care of, and the facility had plenty of space. The staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. It is always nice when a state welcome center actually makes you feel welcomed, and that was definitely the case here. I also really enjoyed the inside of the building. This is more than just a place to stop and use the restroom. There are displays about Tennessee history, including information about the Civil War and Tennessee's role during that time. I enjoyed taking a few minutes to look through the exhibits before we continued our trip. The fireplace, rocking chairs, woodwork, and overall design give the building a comfortable Tennessee feel. There was also plenty of travel and tourism information available for anyone visiting the state or looking for something new to do. Overall, this was an excellent welcome center. Clean restrooms, friendly people, interesting Tennessee history, and a comfortable place to take a break. Definitely worth stopping at when traveling through Tennessee.

My daughter's high school softball team was playing in the state semifinals, and we had reserved two nights at this hotel. On the day of check-in, I explained to the front desk that we would only need the second night if the team won their 10:00 AM game the following morning. The front desk associate told me that, if possible, they needed to know by noon whether we would be staying the second night. Unfortunately, the team lost. It was an emotional end to a remarkable season, and the girls understandably spent time after the game crying, consoling each other, saying goodbye, helping with equipment, and figuring out transportation back to the hotel. As a parent, my priority was allowing them the time they needed after such a heartbreaking loss. Had I rushed everyone out immediately after the game, I could have made it back before noon. Instead, I arrived at the hotel around 12:15 PM and was briefly stopped in the parking lot by another parent as we reflected on the season and said our goodbyes. I walked into the front desk at approximately 12:20 PM and explained the situation. The employee I spoke with seemed genuinely understanding. She asked for my room number and said she would speak with her manager while we gathered our belongings. A few minutes later, she informed me that the manager would not allow us to cancel the second night and that we would be charged the full $300 because I was 20 minutes past the requested noon deadline. I was stunned. There was absolutely no flexibility, empathy, or consideration for the circumstances. It is difficult for me to believe that a room became impossible to rebook because I arrived 20 minutes after noon. What was most disappointing was not the charge itself, but the complete lack of compassion. My family participates in travel sports year-round, and we frequently book hotel blocks for teams. Because of this experience, I will not stay at this property again, nor will I choose a Hilton property in the future. Hospitality should involve more than enforcing policies to the minute, it should also include understanding and empathy when people are dealing with real-life situations. This was a heartbreaking day for a group of young athletes, and the hotel's response only made it worse.

The hallways didn't smell of pot smoke (seems to be an ongoing issue at the majority of Courtyards I've stayed in) and our room was clean (no stains on the couch! They even have a decent (small) gym and a large lobby with plenty of seating and tables should you desire something from the cafe (limited hours of operation so make sure you get your caffeine before 10 am!)

They make it clear that if you need anything at all do not hesitate to ask. Seriously, super friendly and down to earth. Great vibe in that department. Easy check in and out process. The rooms themselves are dated as this is an older building. They have really done well with taking an old place and updating it as much as possible. The rooms have a desk with an office chair, a small dresser, a kitchenette (stove top, sink, microwave, refrigerator), and then the bathroom sink is outside of where the toilet and tub were. They even provide pots/pans, utensils, plates, dish rack, towels, etc that you need for the kitchenette (you have to ask for them from the super friendly desk). There is also a TV, several wall lights and plenty of outlets to charge all the things. It is a clean room and the smell of cleaner was strong. Not the good purple Fabulouso, but more of a bleach based cleaner. They did a good job cleaning. The sheets and towels were clean. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was nice and chilly. This is truly a bargain of a hotel considering what you get for the price. Remember, you get what you pay for. Make sure you recognize that. The hinges and light fixtures in the bathroom have a little rust, the ceiling paint is peeling, the walls have dings, the trim is separating from the wall, there's a few holes in the blankets. If you want an upgraded room as far as fancy, I would suggest getting a room at a different hotel. This place is decent and super affordable. That along with its super nice people makes this a good choice.
