I attended this church two times and those two times I was never once greeted by anyone sure the music is great feels like you're at a concert it's all very loud and blinding really. I'm very disappointed that you don't get that feel at home feeling when attending here. A lot of people here have attitudes and it shows. it's all very discouraging it's not Christ like at all. I do wish them the best but I wouldn't ever attend again. I'd also like to mention that I never once saw the pastor after the service so don't hold your breath. read more

I love south valley church! Been part of this wonderful church for 12 years and it blows my mind to see such a nasty review about discrimination! My daughter grew up in this church and so did my nieces and nephews and we have never experienced or witnessed any bullying. This is such a giving church especially when it comes to children. I thank God for Pastor Ricky and his wife and the team who make it possible for us to be able to come to a safe church filled with Jesus love and GREAT TEACHING! read more

My place of worship since 2012. This is a great place to be. We are a very diverse group of believers, believing in the same God. God has brought us and the church through much in the last few years, but God continues to remain faithful. His names means faithful. read more

I asked this church multiple times for help because my autistic son was getting bullied severely bad and they said I can just leave and that's not helping. My son deserves help in that situation and I asked him wife for friendship for my son and they said they must keep safe boundaries. I feel discriminated against I asked for help multiple times especially when the bullying caused my son ptsd, trauma and now my son screams at night. I asked for guidance because I belong to this church. Every church we get judged for Being a autism family. This church also told me they are uncomfortable with disabilities and Autism. (the pastors wife is uncomfortable with autism) and feels unsafe. They also would not help me with accommodations with my wheelchair with access with events. Overall I feel very hurt with this church and it hurt my faith to where I do not want to follow read more

I love south valley. The staff is great and the community is amazing. You feel so welcomed from the moment that you step in. They have groups that help you with all stages of life. From recovery from addiction to grief. It is truly an honor to call this place home. read more

I really want to express my love and gratitude for South Valley. I have been attending about 10 years. This is an amazing place to go and worship without fear of judgement . Everyone is so kind and inviting, they truly make you feel like family. They do amazing things for the youth which is a priority for me. read more

Very wonderful services and the church staff are so caring and sweet. They drop off sweet bags with information and treats when you list your info down for more information about the church. I am very glad that I found this church. read more

Please don't let your children under 18 stay in the main sanctuary for worship. The music volume regularly reaches over 100 decibels with an average of 95-97. This is damaging to hearing for the duration of exposure. Young ears are more sensitive. The sermons are of decent quality It is a very large church, with a focus on establishing "small groups" versus connecting with others at the church service. These small groups are assigned by the church after you let them know you would like to join one. Overall it's a solid church with non-religious sermons but their sound team is a mess. Be cautious of your hearing. Worship shouldn't be a rock concert. read more

Great church! Good environment. Although a couple weeks back, Pastor Jeff Kristenson never showed up for Sunday service, just disappeared without warning. About a week later we were told by the church he would never return. Does anyone know what happened to him? Great man and surely missed! read more

This church is very nice. They make you feel right at home and the pastor will always put a smile on your face and fill your heart with joy before you leave. I like the guest that they have from time to time. It's a great church. read more

Ever since I stepped foot kn the door of South Valley it felt like home. The term brother and sisters in Christ is seen and felt here....never felt this anywhere else and its been since 2006. The community building is amazing, the giving back is awe inspiring read more

South Valley is alive! Their ministry brought me to a place I truly never believed I would be, it brings me joy and comfort even during difficult times. The Professionalism, authenticism, and devotion is abundantly present in ALL they do! The message is about RELATIONSHIP with the God of the Universe and his only Beloved Son, through Him, and Him alone we find peace, grace, and joy. This is not religion! They welcome ALL of God's people and believe in unity through Christ. This is the real deal! If you grew up religious, like me, and felt you never measured up to the hypocrites and finger-pointers, believe me when I say, you will not find that here. You will find Christ's love and learn how to live according to his word. Your life WILL blossom. Peace is waiting. read more

South Valley Community Church has completely changed my view of what a church and church family really is about. I grew up going to church, but I never saw love, acceptance or community support, only judgment and condemnation of those who didn't "fit in." When my family started attending SVCC, I could immediately hear, see and feel a difference. It's NOT a church of religious people; it's a church of people that love the Lord our God and embraces grace AND truth... A true reflection of Jesus! The church is nice but the pastor and many board members are shady. They cover up the ugly that's caused from within with money and allows members to harass other members of the church. They do not stand on the morals they put out nor do they follow through. If they thought there old pastor was bad for what he did this one is just as bad but in a different way. All will come to light and when it does it's not going to be pretty read more
