They had so many machines I hadn't seen before and some traditional technology I'm used to. No need for dilation either! They spared no exam for my eye health. The cost was very reasonable! I get eye exams yearly and they went above and beyond most other places I have been. I don't have vision insurance by choice, and they happily gave me a lens prescription and measured my PD as well without giving me the run around. They also helped me with the possibility of contacts and even tried some on, which I just couldn't tolerate but haven't completely written off due to the amazing staff. The glasses here are pricy; However, you're paying for a service that other places wouldn't do for you. I would've gone to Costco or somewhere less expensive but the staff's amazing customer service is worth the extra cost. I had new piercings on my ear cartilage that were being snagged by my old glasses; Athena sat with me and found me some frames that would work with my piercings and I bought two pairs! I didn't even know the frame's legs mattered so much. She even went above and beyond and adjusted my existing pair and fixed and adjusted my old favorite pair that I bought elsewhere to be more comfortable while I waited for my pairs to come in. She took her time to help me and you can absolutely tell how much she loves what she does and is willing to help you however you need it. She requested a rush for me as well for free and I really appreciate the willingness to help! The staff is gold and they joke around and appear happy to be there so I'm recommending everyone to this place!

Before leaving their office I scheduled a new appointment to have them recheck the prescription, they said I could come in 5 days at the earliest appointment I was glad they could get me in that soon. During these 5 days the glasses had some kind of Bacteria on them which caused a very bad infection in both of my eyes. I came in for my appt the Candice said I could not get an infection from my glasses, she advised me to go home and get my glasses, Candice said that I would still be fine for my appointment. When I returned in 15 minutes Candice stated my appointment was not that day but a week later, this was after seeing the condition of my eyes. She was VERY RUDE and UNCOMPASSIONATE considering we have been seeing Dr Geller for many years. After leaving I had to seek medical attention, my medical doctor diagnosed me with a very bad eye infection that can be caused by bacteria on the glasses. I received eye drops and an antibiotic, I also missed 3 days of work. Dr Geller has still not taken the time to return our call. While I was at my original appointment I tried on frames as well as my wife, after trying them on Candice put the frames away without disinfecting them, the lack of sanitizing between patients is a huge concern. My entire family will be looking for a new optometrist with updated technology that pays attention to the cleanliness of their office and products.

Finally have a day to get an eye exam and glasses for work and for night driving…read more Quiet and clean everyone was busy with customers so I took a look at the glass frames offered. I found two Ray Ban frames I like. I sat with a very personable Optician who looked up my insurance, let me know what's covered and answered all of my questions. I filled out some paperwork and my eye exam was in 20 minutes. When it was time for my exam my paperwork was ready, my frames selected and the I met the Optometrist Dave. This was the most through eye exam I'd ever had. My previous scripts weren't that clear. My confidence is restore by Dave. Thank Dave This was a very good experience by this first time visitor to Eyeglass World. I will be back!

Glasses, Glasses, Glasses everywhere you look when you walk in. If you can't find a pair of frames…read morethat look good on you something is wrong. The downside is there are sooo many frames I found myself getting overwhelmed. After awhile they were looking all the same. Hence the reason I was there. I switched insurance companies at the beginning of the year, and my regular eye Dr wasn't on the list so I decided to check out ShopKo Optical. As soon as I entered the door, I was greeted by smiling faces. I was checked in within less than five minutes. Wow that's what I call service and with a smile no less. The new experience with the Dr went really smooth, and he answered all my questions. I only had a slight change in my eyes so I was happy about that. Glasses take about a week to make, so you will need to make another appointment to come back. On the return appointment I was in and out within 20 minutes. They did say that I could bring in my own sunglass frames and they would replace the lenses with my prescription for just the cost of the lenses. Parking is a nightmare as they share the parking lot with the bar next door.

Wanted to replace old lenses that the coating was deteriorating, causing reduced vision. I didn't…read morewant to change the frames though, and most of the usual places won't do this. I walked in the store and was greeted by a lady sitting behind a desk. She asked what I wanted and assured me they could help with the lenses, but not with the prescription (You must have a prescription for eyeglasses, if needed, as Frameworks doesn't help with this.). I came back once I had a prescription and was helped by the same lady to determine what it was I wanted with the new lenses. We figured that out easily enough, and her suggestion of the mechanical blue light protection in the lenses was something I didn't even know existed. Now, a little less than a week later, I've got my glasses back and they are PERFECT! The lenses are clear as could be and are installed extremely well on my rimless frames. My frames were cleaned and tightened up like new. Wonderful! I would recommend Frameworks to anyone that needs glasses without reservation.
