I had never been to a scrap metal recycler and several months later I am still livid that I was too stupid to know how badly they ripped me off. I loaded the 6 & 1/2 foot bed of my Silverado with clean, unpainted, aluminum that I scrapped mostly from giant commercial picture frames, signage displays and brought it to ACE METALS. I had no idea what I was doing and I was foolish enough to admit to them that it was my first time. They guided me through the weigh scale and directed me to an area about 100 feet away. After I unloaded it from my truck I got back on the scale, did some paper work and used their little ATM thing to withdraw my cash. I was a little bummed when I only made enough money to fill my tank 3/4 full. I didn't know until the next day how badly the lady that kept asking me, "are you SURE you e never been here before? You look familiar..." ripped me off when she paid me $56 for the 720 pounds of Aluminum I spent over a year collecting. it's been months since ACE METALS brazenly RIPPED ME OFF, and I'm still mad enough about it to spend a half hour signing up for Yelp and writing this review.
