We took a chance based off online reputation and Rich's word: wired cash for car plus $800 to ship to our home.

Vehicle prices seem high, however market is challenging and up priced currently and they may offer fair value if mileage is correct and cars in good shape offered. We found multiple units that were repaired and had been painted, and accident / update did not appear in auctions nor on Carfax as included. Most cars did show low mileage but any accident deterred us from considering purchase at prices marked. A lot of units appeared senior owned previously. Salesperson was jovial and light. He offered that all cars were open and most had keys to start and test. He was a little surprised that we recognized body work, repainting, and bolts rusting and unmatched. He did offer that pricing on EBay was current and very little negotiation was possible. We passed as the only units that seemed to meet our wants were sold and awaiting shipping. Lots of stock but most did not meet our desire. No harm but use BBB and Yelp to measure all ratings not just EBay. Long term business and ownership was offered also. Wish we found something but might check back in future.

When I was finally able to get in touch with him, he said the vehicle was "in the shop" being looked over one last time. Once I received the vehicle, I drove it one time and it immediately overheated, spilling fluid all over my garage. Since then, it has been in the shop twice and is basically nonfunctioning. I reached out to Century Motors but have not received a reply. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing from this dealership.

Despite this, I decided to take the risk. Here's what happened: ‼Security Red Flag: The salesman, David Rubano, requested a photo of the front and back of my credit card to his personal cell phone. Reluctance to Finalize Sale: Despite having full cash ready, they created multiple obstacles to complete the transaction. Unnecessary Deposit: They insisted on a $5,000 deposit even though I was paying in full. Poor Customer Service: The salesperson was nonchalant and unhelpful. In Detail: I went to this dealership ready to purchase a car outright with full cash. Unfortunately, the experience was far from smooth. The salesperson's request for sensitive information, the insistence on a deposit, and the overall lack of professionalism were major letdowns. I would strongly advise considering other dealerships. Final Note: I suspect the dealership might attempt to fabricate an excuse for these issues, but two things stand firm: the BBB rating and the screenshot of the salesperson's request.

So we found a car outside the area. We paid the have it transported here from another Carmax. We contacted a local GM dealer and found that Carmaxs Equifax reporting (versus Carfax) was incorrect and manufacturer warranty was finished. We also found the CPO on file was never paid for original dealer and thus not in effect. Urgh .... So we reach out after hours by chat to discuss cancelling and to find out the process when they were incorrect. Not to worry, the car was on a test drive and being sold today. Didn't you see the refund pending for delivery you paid ??? What ... So in effect the delivery was paid and funds received. The car was on hold and Carmax allowed another buyer to test drive and buy a unit held for transport. Then they just refund the money and fail to alert via phone and email. Wow ! Now again we were going to cancel and all is well in end. We won't likely ever consider Carmax for a buy in future however. Bad info on cars, poor hold and transport policies, and true lack of empathy around their business model and loopholes. Just another typical car dealer experience !!!

You go to the lot and you spot what car you want to test drive and they will then set you up with the test drive. I guess it's a good system if you don't see anything you like and you don't waste a salesperson time, but I thought that was kind of odd. We walked around for about 15-20 min and did not find anything that caught our eyes. But at least we now know how it works.

I also reached out for follow-up assistance after the sale and was thoroughly impressed by his near-instantaneous response time. This is my third vehicle purchase at Champion Porsche, and given the consistent level of excellence, I will certainly be returning for many more. I also want to highlight the assistance I received from Bruna Franke, who helped me set up my new Panamera. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the technical process feel very simple. She is a wonderful addition to the dealership staff.

We walked through multiple showrooms, yet not a single employee acknowledged us. When we asked the customer service representatives if they had a Porsche 911, we were told they didn't. Throughout our visit, employees remained at their desks and seemed completely uninterested in helping or answering any questions. It felt as though we were invisible. Overall, it was a very poor customer service experience and not what I would expect from a dealership.

Throughout the sales process, I repeatedly asked questions about the financing terms, the total cost of the vehicle, and exactly what I would be responsible for paying. Salesperson Jeremy Rivas consistently focused on my BMW X1 trade-in, my $15,000 down payment, and the monthly payment of $1,444.79. I spent hours reviewing the numbers and trying to fully understand the transaction. I still have the worksheet used during the negotiation. It contains the trade-in value, down payment, monthly payment, and financing term. However, it does not mention a balloon payment of $42,568.75 anywhere on the document. I left the dealership believing my obligation consisted of my trade-in vehicle, my down payment, and 36 monthly payments. Only later, after logging into my BMW Financial Services account, did I discover that the contract included a final balloon payment of $42,568.75. My complaint is not that the balloon payment exists. My complaint is that such a significant financial obligation was never clearly explained to me despite my repeated questions and despite the obvious language barrier. Had this obligation been clearly disclosed and explained, I would never have agreed to this financing structure. Customers deserve transparency and clear communication when making major financial decisions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at BMW of Pompano Beach.

The saddest part of this review is that I'm a returning customer, been to Hgreg Lux 3 times and…read moreHgreg once each time I bought a vehicle. This experience was one of my absolute worst in 60 years. Steve is a nice guy but he's lazy, I told him a day in advance I wanted to trade my Porsche GT4RS for an X6M which they had priced at the absolute top of the price range which means MINT condition. I drove two and a half hours only to find the drivers side bumper had substantial damage enough so they couldn't fix it on site. We had all the numbers worked out the day before I got there meaning this transaction should have taken about 30 minutes but because of the damage they tried to fix it on site. After their first attempt which included a detail, Steve told me the BMW was good to go, I asked if the damage was fixed he said it was I went outside to look and it absolutely was not, the deep scratched were still there so either he lied to me or he didn't do his due diligence and check for himself either way he failed. I spent 4 1/2 hours there waiting for something they could have taken care of before I got there, they could have told me about the damage before hand and I would have told them to fix it and let me know when it's good unfortunately Steve had no idea of the damage but I assure you someone there did and they dropped the ball. Four and a half hours of my time wasted then Steve tells me he can find a guy near my house to fix it at their expense. He did and that guy was over an hour away from me so I had to take the X6 in for them to look at, 2 hours of my time, then I had to take it back days later to drop it off another 2 hours and I had to rent a car at my expense, when it was finished another 2 hours of my time so in total that was about 10 and a half hours of my time for something they should have fixed before I drove 2 and a half hours to purchase it. I also asked Steve to please have my check waiting for me since my car was worth at least 40k more than theirs and yes they agreed to pay me just over 40,000 dollars, but there was no check. I asked Carlos, the person in finance if the check would be FedExed to me he said it would and I would receive a confirmation number so I could track it, two weeks later I received my check with 0 notification that it was on it's way, two weeks later I don't know about you guys but if I buy a car from Hgreg they want their money NOW LIKE RIGHT NOW but when they owe money they take their sweet ass time. For sure I will think twice before going here for another vehicle if I do I promise there will be no surprises I will not only make sure the vehicle is on site, which I found out they have two locations where they store their cars, and I will make sure the care is flawless if their asking top dollar. I found they marked up the Porsche I traded in by 25,000 dollars so rest assured if I do business with them again the first thing I'll do is take about 15k off the asking price if they don't like that too bad so sad. The owner of Hgreg should do his due diligence get to this location and get it running right.
