I am the current owner of a 2023 REGAL 26 Express Cruiser. After much research for my first new…read moreboat purchase, I went with this family-owned company known for their commitment to exacting standards of quality, craftmanship, amenities, and service. My decision really paid off recently. I had a few very minor issues and questions during the break-in period, all of which were handed by the REGAL dealership promptly, professionally, and courteously. But then I had a big expensive issue, my bow thruster stopped working after just two years and only had a 1-year warranty from the manufacturer. The shear pin did not break, nor were any of the propeller blades bent as if something may have accidentally sucked into the opening. The experienced technician, at a different marine dealership, who replaced the electric motor said he had never seen anything like it, and that the internal damage may have been going on for some time. From the pictures it looked like it had basically eaten itself. The marine dealership doing the work contacted the manufacturer about the concern that it may be a defect, but to no avail, especially due to it being out of warranty. After the replacement work was completed, I contacted the dealership that I purchased the boat from (Talley's Pier77, the REGAL dealership near Charlotte/Lake Norman, NC) to see if they could assist with some potential help from the bow thruster manufacturer, since it seems to have been a motor malfunction or defect. The dealership contacted REGAL on my behalf. Thanks to the Director of Customer Experience at REGAL, they reimbursed me for the Bow Thruster motor and labor costs. REGAL really stepped up to the plate to provide this type of company goodwill, especially for a first-time buyer. Going into my third year of boat ownership I cannot say enough about REGAL. This incident shows that this family-owned company is not only a quality boat builder but is willing to go the extra distance for their customers, to stand behind their product, and develop the type of consumer trust for anyone purchasing their boat would want. In today's world this type of customer satisfaction is not always the norm. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to purchase a boat to give REGAL a serious look.

I owned a 2023 36 XO, worst financial mistake I ever made! From the factory, trim tabs were not…read morehooked up, shower leaked into the bedroom, sliding doors did not lock or brake, the generator overheated and radar failed! 680,000$ new boat. After that the swim platform became disconnected, cheap stainless hardware started to corrode, swim platform latches broke, lights going out, anchor falling apart, frig broke and the list goes on. The worst part is the dealer and Regal do not care. It takes months to get anything fixed and when they do fix it they charge you labor! I got so sick of it I sold it losing 200,000$ but I had to, I could not keep up with things falling apart. In 2 years I never got to go out on it without something breaking on it. Terrible experience and service! Don't waste your money.

They are without question the best boat dealership I've ever experienced. Their service department has come to my dockside and I've brought my boats to their state-of-the-art facility. I have to point out a few individuals for their commitment and service: - Brock in service. Brock always leaves my boat cleaner than he finds it. His communication is great and he is very thorough, sometimes fixing things I didn't even know were issues. - Kenny as the General Manager. Kenny does something very challenging. Keeping customers happy with one of the most advanced and expensive assets their family owns. Today's boats are very complex, with many systems all having to work together. Malibu and Axis are at the forefront of that tech, but sometimes the one at the lead gets the most bruises. Kenny balances this challenging service role like a champion. - Wes Powers as the sales master. Wes IS the epitome of the boating lifestyle. This isn't a job for him, it is a lifestyle. He's always working because his life is boating. He alway's looks to the future of the customer because he's guiding families to a lifestyle of fun and memories. He always takes care of everyone and gives them the after-sale support that keeps them coming back.

I brought my new boat in for 10hr service and they always work with you and keep you up to date. Even had a loaner trailer briefly and it was missing a piece needed for back. Kristy drove to the lake shore where I was parked to help and provide the piece needed. I highly recommend Tommy's for anything you need from Boat to clothing, can't say enough good things.
