Worst experience ever with filing my fiances taxes! I have always filed them for him but decided…read morewe would try out Jackson Hewitt this year and boy was that a MISTAKE! The office had only one worker in it but she acted as if there was a line out the door yet we were the only ones in there. She did find more tax breaks than we could but then wanted to charge over $500 for the preparing. She saw my face and quickly said they could give us a discount of $200. Although we were not completely satisfied with that my fiance relented and signed all the necessary paperwork. We believed everything was fine we did not bother to read anything after it was put into his folder. It wasn't until we received his check that we found out that they did NOT in fact give the discount. After calling the manager and demanding to speak with the owner about this experience neither gave any apology but said we had signed and agreed to the amount. What a bunch of CROOKS! DO NOT GET YOUR TAXES DONE HERE!!! EVER!!!!

She also would not take some of our receipts to file on our taxes which in turn made us having to wind up paying instead of getting a refund on our state tax, she was unprofessional and it was an overall bad experience we definitely will not be going back to Jackson Hewitt ever again.
