The owner is really rude and will threaten to close your party down if she does not like something. My aunt had a birthday here and the DJ provided by the party hall falsely accused my cousin of bumping into the speaker causing it to fall and break a window when I clearly saw her not do anything of that sort. she was just near the speaker when it gave out and fell. After that the whole night was a bust the owner made my cousins and my brother pick up the window shards and the DJ just sat and looked instead of keeping the music going. He waited until we taped up the window to start again. Then the owner was raising her voice at my aunt (the birthday girl) at the bar in front of all her guest "saying on all her years doing even halls no accidents have ever happened" this lady has horrible customer service and she will call you and your guest out if they try to defend you. So naturally my cousins were bothered that this lady was yelling at my aunt and the spoke up to defend her and that's when she threatened to close the party. Mind you we never got violent we never used profanity we just were defending my aunt and telling her not to yell in front of our guests. ITS AFFORDABLE BUT DONT BOOK HERE you will regret it. Oh I almost forgot she also tried to hide some liquor bottles that we took for the party that we're left over! I can't believe this lady! She is terrible and her staff too! We had the party on Halloween so the kids were able to add face painting to their costumes and it looked great! All the kids at the party got their face painted and almost all had balloons made. First things first. This was an Indian wedding and we needed Indian music. They can't do Indian…read moremusic. If you want it then you need to provide them with a list of songs. This was my biggest mistake because I thought I would be able to get a comprehensive list together, but I wasn't able to. So the Indian music was lacking. In the middle of the reception, Michael walks over to our sweetheart table and asked me, the bride, what was supposed to be happening at that moment! I had given them documents of the order of things for that very reason and we had a planner. Obviously, I would have problems remembering off the top of my head what was next. I told him the wrong thing and we had to awkwardly go back and do some things we skipped over. That was very bad form for a DJ. The DJ, Michael, would yell out things like "Saturday nights" during the dance music which obviously is not the right vibe for a wedding. He did not read the crowd well and played songs for too long when everyone was tired of it and not dancing anymore. The photobooth was not set up correctly. When Joe and I spoke about it on the phone, he said there would be 10 feet of space that the photobooth would capture but they had it set up so that there was only like 6 feet. I remember this because after I got the measurements from him, I tried to get a floral backdrop that was as wide at the picture would be able to get. I couldn't get anything bigger than an 8ft wide wall but even that wasn't fully captured. The guy monitoring the photobooth was very rude and badly behaved. He was having the time of his life (which we got in our videos) and gave me attitude about how we were still taking pictures at the end of the night. Given these issues, I would say how much we paid made sense because they were on the cheaper side (compared to Indian DJs). The uplighting made the ballroom look great. We said pink uplighting but it came out purple which worked out. I have a before and after attached of the ballroom.
