Moved to the area a year ago. I am so grateful the quality of this volunteer fire rescue district. It was obvious it was one of the better outfits when we were looking for land to buy. And it has surpassed our expectations. Listening to my scanner and these folks respond to command within a few seconds of the call. And then shortly are in route. Simply the best fire & rescue in the area.....and they are volunteers!!! Seen them work a couple of local brush fires and auto accidents. We are lucky to have a fire chief and first responders that perform at such a high level out of their generosity and desire to help our community. Not to mention, throw a great country fair and now added a haunted house truck-or-treat for the community.
