Having had Rocket Town do a prior website and having had a wonderful experience, it was only…read morenatural to hire them again. As in life things change! The principle was still there, however a partner that had been on leave rejoined the team. Talent and innovation were replaced with a confrontational and adversarial attitude. Responsive communication gradually disappeared as deposits and progress payments were banked. Virtually all voice communication disappeared in favor of only exclusive online emails and texts. Simply put they refused to take calls and refused to return calls. Suggestions and questions became viewed as personal attacks rather than business. This became the worst nightmare possible without ending up in court suing for a return of our money. Trying to salvage as much of our investment as possible and stay out of court I had their work uploaded as a foundation for change on another server and hired another firm with developers in house as opposed to outsourced. In closing the owner is talented and capable. However any benefit from him is crushed by the lack of in-house talent to follow thru, and by his business partner that would rather engage in he said she said than just do the work. Unless you are tech savvy, hire you an attorney to read the contact, making sure your expectations and requirements are set out & insure you will get what you pay for, TIMELY & PROFESSIONALLY
