Then when she asked if she could change the color her nail tech said no and kept putting the same color on. I asked for regular polish on my toes and my mother in law did as well. Then the bill came and they added gel polish on the end of the bill for both of us. Turns out they ignored our requests and added gel just to add to the bill. Do not go to this nail salon, they are dishonest.

While other technicians scraped the gel polish off, thus weakening my nails so they split at the nail bed, Jenny used cotton balls in a solution to softened the gel for removal. Not familiar with the process, I decided to read past reviews. I was shocked at the negative comments. Holly has been my technician for the entire time. She is excellent and one of the many reasons I keep returning. I always make an appointment so I am expected. I receive a full deluxe gel manicure and pedicure. Holly is so gentle that I almost fall asleep under her care. The salon is clean and many precautions are taken to avoid cross contamination (individual liners for the pedi tub and a new pack of implements for each customer). They have numerous nail colors and procedures to choose from. have never had a bad experience and often recommend Holly and the salon. Holly's English is very limited which makes discussions difficult, but Jenny (supervisor?) will help translate when needed. The costs of services are reduced if you do not use a credit card (but cash). I would have given five stars with easier communication. Note: I am partially handicap and the staff goes out of their way to accomodate my special needs. Always a pleasant experience!

I wanted to get a dip powder for starting my next assignment and not have to worry about getting it…read moreduring the week. I looked around the area and couldn't finding too many higher rated salons that had dip powders. I widened my search area and found Angel Nails & Spa. Originally, I was going to call 1) to make sure they did do dip powders, 2) how they finished their dip powders (more on that later), and 3.) to make an appointments. I found their website on here this amazing website/app called Yelp. Ever heard of it? It's great! I was able to look at their services right on their website, but didn't have prices. No worries, maybe it was posted in the photos sections. It's not. I was too late at night to call so I just made the appointment anyway. To make an appointment, you can see a list of their nail specialist, their specialty, and then make an appointment right there on the website. That is definitely a plus in my book! I've read many greats reviews about Tina, but she wasn't available for a while so I booked with Lynn and she was wonderful! I was greeted by her when I walked in. It was a few minutes before she could take me because they do take walk ins and the other 6ish workers there were all working. I didn't mean as I do take some time trying to pick a color. They have a huge variety of colors, ombre, glitter, different hues, everything! Another plus goes in the book. I was seated at her station and she got to work right away. Lynn was a delight to work with. She was attentive to detail, asking what shape I would like (I've experienced with some places don't bother asking), and efficient. Overall, it took about 45 minutes which is on the quicker side of getting the dip powder, but I was not complaining. For a single dip powder color was $45 for cash, and if you pay debit/credit, it's an extra $1 the surcharge from the companies. I didn't mind and I gave her a good tip because she was wonderful and how she finished my nails was great! I've had in the past, salons would finish my dip powder with a gel or shellac coating using the UV dryers. I have a family history of skin issues and I tanned many years ago so I don't want any extra exposure regardless how small of an amount of it is. My bigger issue with gel/shellac polish is I'm a nurse so I'm constantly either washing my hands or using alcohol gel sanitizer which eats away at the gel/shellac and gets ruined within a few days instead of lasting weeks. TL;DR: I would recommend Angel Nails & Spa for dip powders. They have a wide variety of colors, glitters, shades, ombres, etc. The -1 star is all the small stuff added up such as no pricing on their website, the state my nails were left in when she was done, nothing critically major.
