    Love this WA wine!

A hidden gem in the World Golf Village. Owned and run by a talented Somalia who has an amazing chef who makes small plates with big flavors. A must try for St. Augustine wine lovers BUT they also have craft beer for beer lovers.

Chef Marshall is really cooking up some wonderful food. Tuesdays are "Tasting Tuesday" where chef features a menu item and an off menu item and pairs them with wine to enhance the taste. I can't say enough good things about Alayna, Chef Marshall and the rest of the crew at SV.

Food is excellent, tapas style. They change menus everyday to match wine being highlighted. They also have a wine cellar with lots of wines from all over the world to choose from. Service is great and love the ambiance.

This was a great place! It's not too big inside but still plenty of room to spread out all of the small plates I'm sure you'll order. Lol. There were 3 in our party and we each ordered flights. Two wine flights and one beer flight. We also went with a cheese board, pimento cheese plate, Asian meatballs, and the shrimp toast. We also ordered the lemon ricotta plate as "dessert." Everything was delicious. Service was great and what made it even more fun was the live country music by Branden Parrish. His voice is amazing. I'm sure we will return. It's a classy but casual environment to relax with friends and sip on wine and snack on small plates.

This restaurant is small but probably can accompany a party of 8. The staff was nice and attentive. My Riesling wine tasted fresh, crisp and semi sweet which was perfect. I did not use the restroom but it's safe to assume it was clean as the facility itself was very clean.

Fun girls night out with music bingo. Limited seats, and no social distancing. Be prepared to get up close and comfortable with the table next to you. The food was good too. We did a variety of items to share.

If you get a chance you should try the new tasting room and wine cellar in WGV. Super friendly owners and the place is quaint but has plenty of room to spread out. They also serve local beer and tapas style eats. What I love the most is they serve Cream De La Cocoa desserts!!!!!

The wine selection is amazing, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The staff and owners are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I go there every chance I get to enjoy a glass of wine and delicious charcuterie board. I frequent their Facebook page to see what new delightful food they are serving!

Love visiting this location!…read more I've always made sure to make a stop here when I'm visiting St. Augustine. This last visit was no different! Inside is spacious, clean and what's really interesting is that they have informative areas that showcase the distillation process and other fun facts about the distillery! I enjoy coming for their tasting that they offer. While it use to be free of charge local businesses in the area that also had tastings started charging so that makes sense especially with the amount of visitors they get! Luckily it's only $5 dollars and you get a chance to enjoy a variety of their products. There are employees are different stations that give you information on the spirits and mixers they offer while they craft drinks for you to try. Such as a mule with their vodka, a sweet tasting drink with their crafted rum, another with gin and the final stopping point is an old fashioned! If you end up loving any of the drinks, you're able to purchase a bottle there in their gift shop. They also offer to hold any of your purchases for a later pickup time if you don't want to be holding onto your purchase if you're busy visiting and exploring the city. They also provide different paid experiences involving their whiskey. I have yet to try them out but maybe one day I'll make sure to!

We stopped in unexpectedly, signed in without any trouble, and were done in under a half hour. It helped that it wasn't crowded at all and our group of 5 were the only ones on the tasting tour at the time. You get to taste 4 different cocktails made with their various products. The first two were decent, with the second being a step up from the first. The third was our favorite by far, a tiki rum cocktail that actually had a really nice flavor to it. The fourth and final one was a straight vodka pour from an older woman at the last station. She told us that good vodka shouldn't taste like nail polish, which is a bold thing to say right before handing someone a sample that tasted pretty much exactly like acetone. A couple of us couldn't even finish it. The staff overall were super friendly though, and it was genuinely cool getting to go behind the scenes and see all the big machinery in the distillery. Now the gift shop at the end is a different story. Everything was overpriced, and their clearance section was almost insulting, with maybe $2 knocked off the regular prices. We won't be buying any of their products, but for $5 the tasting itself was a fun little experience worth checking out if you're in the area.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

The Bloody Mary is where it lost me. $15 is a serious price for a cocktail, and mine arrived as a tall glass of ice with what was left over poured around it. By the time I was a few sips in, it was mostly meltwater. For that money I'd expect the drink to outlast the ice. Suggestion for the house: given the name, lean into it. Send everyone home with a free bag of ice -- at least then I'd feel like I paid for something I got to keep. Would go back for the food. Would think twice before ordering another cocktail.

The restaurant is located in the Hyatt hotel and has complimentary valet parking. We went for a Mother's Day dinner. The ambience was classy with a live pianist and upscale decor. Our party of three shared a Petit seafood plateau with oysters, shrimp, cocktail crab claws, poke tuna, accompaniments. The food was fantastic! We enjoyed CAFECITO-CRUSTED SALMON FILET with creamy risotto, forest mushrooms, miso crema BRANZINO, artichokes, citrus, capers, castelvetrano olives, sauce verde and ATLANTIC SWORDFISH with mousseline potatoes, broccolini, crispy capers, pan jus. Unfortunately the weather decided otherwise. The weather was terrible and the rooftop closed. We opted to continue with our evening as one of our friends lives in Vilano. I had visited the original restaurant many moons ago but was looking forward to the new location despite it being in a hotel. I am a vegetarian and the options for those are very limited. And I get it. It's a steakhouse. My friends all love steaks. Between the four in our party we had the bread which was out of this world and we ended up ordering a second order, the goat cheese terrine which was tasty, chopped Salad minus the bacon was delicious,Caesar salad for one lady, the mashed potatoes and they were not great, the seasonal vegetables and those were awesome, the Brussel sprouts which were very good but a skimpy portion, a filet steak review was it was ok, steak mofongo and review was ok, and lastly the vegetable pasta and again review was ok. I personally just had the sides as I hate onion and I could not get a vegetarian pasta without onion. The pros are everyone on the staff was wonderful! Bartenders, our server Jonny, hostess, valet guys, etc. The cons are the chairs are cheap and uncomfortable, the space is dressed up a bit for a hotel but still a hotel restaurant, some of the patrons had on shorts and ball caps. For the menu prices a dress code should be enforced and more comfortable seating available. I still want to check out the sunset rooftop and the bread is worth another trip. Other than that, I have other places in SA I lean toward.
