Had my first experience at Southtowns Salt Cave today and it was amazing . Before you enter the cave you leave behind your shoes and belongings and most importantly your electronic devices . The inside of the cave was so amazing and it had a cute water fountain inside which was a very relaxing noise to hear . I meditated and breathed in the salt and my sinuses within minutes were cleared , it was such a relief . At times I would find myself reaching for my phone and it was nice not to have it . I feel all too often at times we are so consumed with our phones it takes away from our reality that's happening right in front of us .

Beautiful facility. Relaxing environment and awesome events! Wonderful for any wellness journey.

Terrible customer service and doesn't take responsibility or make up for their mistakes.

We did the salt cave which is 45 minutes of meditation as you relax and smell the salts and take in the good vibes. And we did the hand and foot salts where you place your hand and feet on salt blocks and let the heat and salts absorb into your skin. As we waited there was a store with a ton of minerals, CBD, drinks, towels, gifts etc for you to buy. Parking is plentiful. We came on a Sunday morning at 11am and we did a walk in. They were receptive and attentive to my requests. I booked a 60 minute private sound healing session, followed by 90 minutes of reiki. Upon entering the building, I was greeted by very kind staff members. I filled out a small amount of paperwork. I then went back with Lynn for my sound healing. Lynn was a very very nice person and I look forward to doing sound healing with her again in the future. The room was nice and peaceful and relaxing. The bed warms up if you like. She has 3 different size knee support pillows for your comfort. She has eye masks to wear. She was blankets, including weighted ones. She asks permission to do things that require touch. It's up to you. After you're done, she will tell you her findings (such as what chakra is blocked). She then led me to a tea station to have some water or tea if I like while I waited for reiki. You can have one bag of tea and they had quite an assortment and lists if they're caffeine free or how much caffeine it contains. Denise then came to grab me for my reiki session. She is a reiki master. She was also very kind. We talked a bit before getting started about me and about what she does. My session was incredible. I felt a bit emotional during the sound bath but I felt it very strongly here. I wasn't expecting it but it was good for me and a safe space to experience that. I was also drifting into sleep and not having a loud mind which is not usual for me. It was amazing. In the beginning and end she goes over what chakras are blocked and/or open. She will tell you what she saw or felt during it. And she will let you do an oracle pull. Denise also helped me with some questions I had in the gift shop. Oh. And someone else in the gift shop was super friendly too ... just didn't know their name or I can't recall it. And the gift shop itself is great. Tons of crystals, some jewelry, gummies, oils, skin care, tea, buffalo bills themed stuff, etc. I would go here weekly if I could but my budget will not allow it; I plan to go as much as I can though as it really helped me and was such a safe and welcoming space! I highly recommend coming here if you've been curious :) I'll be back next month!

Unsafe, Dishonest, and Emotionally Damaging - AVOID at All Costs…read more What was meant to be a peaceful couples spa day for my birthday turned into one of the most upsetting, anxiety-inducing, and frankly gaslighting customer service experiences I've ever endured. Let me be clear: This was not my first float. I've floated several times before - in beautifully (subtly) lit, tranquil environments that promoted peace and calm. But this time? I was essentially locked in a pitch-black watery coffin. When I checked in, Raven, the staff member on duty, specifically assured me there would be a visible light inside the float tank so I could always locate the exit handle. Once inside, there was nothing. No light, no orientation, no visible exit - just total darkness. It was disorienting, claustrophobic, and terrifying. I started calling out for help, and was later told that nobody could hear me unless I was screaming, because the tanks are "soundproof." Seriously, the little snot really said that. I ended my float session early, shaken and panicked. When I told Raven what happened, she claimed there was a light--just a "very dim one." But when my husband (who had just finished his massage) confronted her, she changed her story completely, saying there was no light and that she had never told me otherwise. She outright lied, tailoring her answer depending on who was asking. We asked for the manager to call us, since this was clearly a safety issue and a serious customer service failure. The manager took her sweet time calling back, and when she finally did, her excuse was jaw-dropping: "I was busy trying to charge your husband's credit card for the FULL package amount, including his cancelled float and your wife's cancelled massage." Not "We're sorry." Not "How can we make this right?" Just trying to get paid for services not rendered. She then proceeded to minimize everything by calling it a "miscommunication." She admitted there isn't actually a light in the float tanks - only a vague "glow" that may or may not be visible - and still attempted to enforce their cancellation policy. Her apology was empty. Her tone was cold. And her refusal to take responsibility was astonishing. Let me be crystal clear: This was not a misunderstanding. This was a bait-and-switch, followed by dishonesty, emotional negligence, and a complete failure in basic professionalism. We paid only for the massage--on a separate card--because my husband insisted on it out of principle. But I did not receive the service I was promised. Worse, I was treated like an inconvenience for speaking up about my experience. If you suffer from anxiety, trauma, claustrophobia, or even just expect a baseline level of honesty and compassion, do not go here. This business is unsafe, mismanaged, and unwilling to own its failures. Save your money. Save your sanity. This is not a sanctuary - it's a liability.

The indoor hot tub and salt sauna were both quite spacious, and while the three outside pools were much smaller, they were great for working through the circuit of varying temperatures. There's also a dry sauna you access from that area. You get unlimited use of the facility for three hours, which is quite a good deal. We are big fans of nordic contrast circuits and have visited plenty of similar spas in various cities and countries. For the price, this one covers all the bases very well with few frills, and that's okay with us. The service was good, and the employees friendly, even if they did seem a bit overworked at times. This location isn't as luxurious in its other amenities as some other options in nearby Niagara-On-The-Lake, so if you're after a full pampering experience, you might look into one of those, but the much lower cost here made it a worthwhile trade-off for us. Plus the location is convenient to a lot of other sites and restaurants, and free parking is included. All in all, good facilities, good people, good price point. We will be back again for sure!

We both had our inferred session same day together Monday afternoon. He had his facial same day Monday-he said he really enjoyed it. He face was very dewy and moisturized . Pleasant experience. My spa session on Tuesday was good; I'm am so glad i booked early morning bc I had the place to myself for almost two hours. Remember I said petite.Yes it a cute space to relax is you have an hour or so. Tried the Himalayan salt sauna larger pool; open shower, dry sauna and hottest whirlpool(it was mild). The cold plunge whirlpool was good. I enjoyed my time. They have three whirlpools outside fits 4 comfortably maybe 5 strangers. I had them to myself so it was wonderful. Overall it was a great experience for me. They seem to offer full spa services from what I saw as I walked around. The spa gets a 4 star due to amenities cleanliness and offerings. Although small the space was utilized well. I very big on customer service and the Tuesday staff was clearly not morning people; thus the reason for the overall 3 stars. If you're in the hotel area yes visit during off peak times to have the best experience it gets crowded quickly due to small size.

Halotherapy involves the use of salt vapor to help treat respiratory issues primarily (allergies, asthma ,bronchitis etc) . At Samana, you are taken into a spacious room with a salt brick wall , it is darkened except for the colored lights-you can pick your color . The room has several reclining chairs so pick your spot and recline in preparation for a 45 minute session. The staff will explain the process and what to expect. You will literally relax for 45 minutes (it is easy to fall asleep and that is completely fine) while breathing in the salt vapor . On my last visit to the spa, I had a sore throat , I must tell you that after one session I already felt tremendous improvement ! One of the staff mentioned he was able to rid himself of a sinus infection after 3 visits-I believe it ! The spa is very clean and calming, the staff/owners are so welcoming and friendly. They also offer massage treatments and yoga classes . I attended an "I can't do yoga" , yoga class and it was wonderful ! Such a great concept for people who "can't do yoga" . This class while challenging somewhat, was overall very doable for a beginner . At the time of this review, your first visit is 1/2 price, so $20 for a 45 minute session. I look forward to my next visit as seasonal allergies are in my near future, and are not my jam.
