Heard about this place a few months ago through the gym I go to, Mount Vernon Barbell but I never got to try their entrees. I live fairly close to Souzafit and ever since this pandemic started, it's been hard to eat healthy and stay in shape. I've heard of this place before and decided to try it today. They offer take out during this time, so I ordered my food to go. I ordered the ultimate omelette and the oatmeal blast. The omelette was very good. The turkey and gooey cheese was meshed together in an egg white omelette. The oatmeal was also tasty, just enough sweetness and plenty of fruit. I did check out the menu and saw a lot of other healthy options on the menu. So definitely if I ever want a healthy smoothie or a juice, I will make the order. read more

I first had food here a few years ago when they were newly opened. I came back for old time's sake and I am happy I did. It looks like they expanded inside with a small seating area with a few tables in addition to the counter space for dining in. I had the French Toast, topped with strawberries, blueberries and bananas, with egg whites and Turkey sausage on the side. Excellent. Everything had great flavor. Considering the food is actual food and not overly processed and frozen like what you would get at a chain restaurant or fast food establishment, $10 for this plate of goodness is a great value. I can't say I was disappointed by this restaurant for the food was good, it was how it is represented here on YELP. This is not really a "restaurant" per se. No tables, no chairs, and absolutely no reservations. What they do have is a tremendous menu of basically Take-out Food and a narrow counter along the front window with 4-5 stools. Okay, as for the food and service, the people there are quite pleasant and accommodating. I had the Turkey Burger on the plate which I specifically said was because I need to be GlutenFree. The plate was served with sweet potato fries, that although looked good, in all likelyhood were cooked in a frier where breaded foods had been. NO Good for me! I have tried a few different meal-prep services (both local ones where the food is prepared fresh and sent to you or to an arranged pick-up location, and non-local ones where the food was shipped in UPS boxes and far exceeded my RDI for sodium), and Souzafit is THE BEST, hands down. I typically pick up my meals on Sunday mornings; they text me first thing on Sundays to let me know that they're preparing my meals - you can't get any more fresh than that. I'm pretty picky about my meal combos, and they work with me and have always gotten my orders correct. They're VERY reasonably priced and go out of their way to accommodate my schedule, and they even text me to let me know when my food is ready. The Food is good, however feel very left down after pre booking an order on seamless to be delivered at 1pm. When food did not arrive i called at 1:40pm figuring they had missed order, which transpires they did. They advised they would get it around 2pm - an hour late. I tried this place for the first time and I don't know how it has so many good reviews. The pictures posted and the reviews seemed great so I decided to try it. I ordered the teriyaki salmon and it comes with asparagus and quinoa. The salmon was dry and overcooked and looked like it was made on a different day. The edges were dry and hard, this was clearly not fresh. The asparagus tasted horrible, it was as if they forgot to season it and after it was done they just sprinkled the seasoning on top. So when you take a bite you're left with a large amount of seasoning in your mouth. The quinoa was just bland. I really wanted to like this place. It's close by and I've been searching for healthy food around here. But this place is not it. You can make fresh healthy food and have it taste good. read more

I decided to order the whole wheat pancake with banana, veggie wrap and a protein muffin. This was the worst tasting veggie burger wrap I have ever had. The veggie burger meat is hot and the lettuce is cold so that was a major disaster. It was soggy I gagged when I took one bite so I had to end up eating only the pieces of the veggie burger meat and the avocado inside. It was tasteless. What a waste of my money :( The whole wheat pancake with bananas decorated on the top...... another tasteless disaster. The only thing that tasted good was the muffin. I don't know if I would order here again! With so many good reviews I'm wondering if the cook was having an off day or if this is their standard.
