Never again. Stopped by with a friend who was looking for some .380. Of course they were out. And based on the tone of the girl behind the counter I should have known that. So literally I had no need for ammo but hey local business might as well support right. Well bug mistake. But a couple bags of .357 and go to pay up. So it is 36 bucks plus tax. I know this and she rings it up. I mentioned the tax by saying "the governor is getting his cut". She went all defensive mode saying they have to charge it. I was not biggie the governor has to get his cut. She says she doesn't talk politics. I told her it isn't politics but it is a fact. The tax funds the state. At this point I say thank you and start to walk out. I ask the guy working if the go to the gun shows since I seemed to remember seeing them there. I the. Got the what show. Where when. At this point I just walked out. Never again ever again. Their ammo shot fine so that is a positive. The definitely had a lot reloading stuff. If I am paying a premium how about a little better attitude. read more

I was on my way from Jacksonville, FL to Jupiter, FL on Wednesday, 03/13/2013 and thought I'd stop off at Space Coast Bullets (SCB). I have used their bullets for many years and always liked their quality. Their website, and a sign on their door, states that their store hours are 10am-6pm Tues - Fri. and that they are closed for lunch 1:30pm-2:30pm. Unfortunately, by my experience, this information is not entirely accurate. After driving over 160 miles, I arrived at their store at 1:20PM only to find the door locked. I rang the bell and the door was open by an obviously annoyed, bearded man who coarsely informed me that they were "closed for lunch." When I showed him that it was only 1:20pm he repeated that they were "closed for lunch" and abruptly closed the door in my face. He did not even give me the chance to tell him that I only wanted a couple of boxes of bullets, which would have taken all of 5 minutes to purchase. I suppose that in this time of high demand for reloading components, SCB believes that business is so good they can get away with treating their customers in such a discourteous manner. In any event, it is clear that SCB clearly places the sanctity of their lunch hour above servicing their customers even during their published business hours. It is for this reason I will no longer patronize SCB. When my supply of SCB is exhausted I will either cast my own bullets or obtain them from a supplier who truly wants and appreciates my business. As an NRA Certified Instructor, I used to routinely recommend SCB as a supplier to students in my hand loading classes. I will do so no longer and will in fact actively discourage my students from doing business with SCB. I will also encourage my fellow NRA Instructors to do likewise. read more
