Don't use Regus! They are nice and helpful until you want to cancel, then they refuse to respond to emails, will respond and tell you you're account is cancelled then continue to charge you, then the customer assistance email expires and you have to start new claim tickets and wait all over again. I had to call my credit card and place a block to avoid further charges. They are wildly unprofessional and actually fraudulent by claiming no active account then continuing to charge the monthly. Save yourself the headache and use other shared work spaces! read more

Most of the front line people are anywhere from OK to good. Started out at 111 Congress with an office. Great staff and enjoyed it. Renewed in November. In January they told us they were closing to remodel. they would move me to another location or cancel the lease. With about 10 days to decide. A nice old gentleman had moved in in December and had to move immediately. I chose to move to 100 Congress. If you are a business that receives mail. NOT GOOD. Sure, they moved us but changing an address is a major PIA. No compensation for that. Moved to 100 Congress. Quiet and a good staff. Renewed again. Told in May that they were closing location. Again about 10 days to decide to move to new location or cancel lease. Big mistake. Should have cancelled lease instead of going to 501 Congress. Part of the reason to go with Regus was the mail service. If i was out of town they could open and scan or forward to a new address. 501 Congress was a total shit show. They wanted to bake cookies and set up board games for the wannabe WeWork space. Never came downstairs. For anything. When I left one day I had mail and dropped off at the front desk. The clerk was offended and told me to take it to a mailbox down the street. This is also the lazy crew that could not be bothered to deliver mail to an office. They kept it in a storeroom where only one person had a key. if they were on the phone you had to wait for them to finish and then open the locked room and check for mail. No mail access after hours or on weekends. Later received an apology from corporate that mail SHOULD be available- it is part of the FEE you are charged. No apology from the staff. Also, they charge you a fee roughly equivalent to one month rent when you leave. For cleaning and administrative fees. not part of your lease. They slip it into house rules. STAY AWAY! read more

Working here was a complete disaster. Here is just a few of the reasons: -AC shuts off after 6. Have to pay extra to keep it in. -AC is off EVERY holiday or anything that resembles a holiday, Have to pay extra to keep it on. -Absurd printing prices -I rented a desk for 2 weeks..$50 charge -I paid $8k deposit, takes 45 days to get it back..45! -They incorrectly billed me for an extra month, and I have yet to receive the rent (2.7k, and it's been 20 days so far). They're not professional and they will nickel and dime you at every corner. Work anywhere but here, absolutely horrible experience. read more

DO NOT use this company. As an owner of a corporation myself their business practices are why people speak so negatively about corporations. I waited on the phone for customer service for TWO HOURS. When someone finally picked up they hung up and didn't call back. I have never used their services because I was not able to get in contact with anyone for over a month. I was charged three times in ONE month (bad business practices) for a service I never used. They will not allow me to terminate the contract (bad business practices) even though they have not been available for me to set up my mailbox and answer questions. We came to Regus less than 6 months ago, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! This is such an interesting concept...the team that helps us is wonderful and a very fun group. We have offices in several cities and countries but Austin is a great place to be. We didn't have to do anything, just show up with our computers. They have copiers and all the offices are even furnished even down to having a Receptionist they're already in place, we don't even have to hire one on a local level. We had several exceptions that we requested, which wasn't the normal thing to do and they were very flexible. We have an intense law team that reviews leases and after a week of reviewing and final approvals, they were happy to get us taken care of and into our offices and the Regus team was very patient with us!! We hope to be hear for another year or two... Pros: Beautiful views...Great office we absolutely love it! There is something very wrong with this company. They sold me a product that did not exist because their salesperson was misinformed about which office space I was purchasing with the agreement I entered into. After I signed the agreement, the receptionist told me I could not access the desk space I was sold. It took them a day to sort out with management which desk space I had actually purchased. This sales agent then worked very hard to cancel the first agreement and allow me to enter into a new agreement to access a different desk space. We entered into a new (different) agreement within a day. Two months later, Regus/Spaces is still trying to charge me for the original agreement price (which is more than double the new agreement). I've communicated with him via email multiple times over the course of several months. Each time he said a ticket has been put in to correct the charges. In the meantime, I've been charged late fees, which they automatically charged to my credit card. I told him I was concerned about any credit reporting issues and needed to resolve it. He said they don't report to credit bureaus and was still trying to resolve it. This morning, I received an email from debt collections on behalf of Regus threatening to report it within three days to a credit reporting bureau. (The sales agent is now trying to work it out with corporate; but obviously this is a poorly designed company and it seems like corporate does not actually communicate well with the ground-level agents). Avoid this company at all costs. Also, it's particularly telling that even the receptionist at Spaces mentioned to me (of course after I had already signed) that it is nearly impossible to get out of contracts with Regus/Spaces. If you don't cancel them at least 60 days (or something like this) in advance, you can get stuck in another year plus of a contract with them (depending on the original terms). The actual offices are very nice. But be VERY VERY CAREFUL and *read every single line* of your contract before signing. read more

I've been very happy with my experience at Regus. I use the mailing service and it's perfect for my business needs. The front desk is very helpful and I've never had an issue. There's parking just next door off of Brazos which is free if you're in the garage less than 15 minutes (perfect if you're just picking something up). The price is very reasonable and it's hard to beat the location in downtown. Overall I'd highly recommend. read more

Eric Simone, CEO ClearBlade is right! Regus handed me an Agreement, however after carefully inspecting it and having it reviewed by legal I was advised to stay away from Regus. The Regus Agreements have hidden loop holes, other terms and conditions which do not spell out the additional fees a consumer will incur. If you're 1 month late paying Regus, they can modify your original Agreement, take away any promotions you were given, charge you a late fee and interest charges. Lots of abuse in their agreements. read more

I would not recommend this co-working space to anyone. Very dull environment and not to mention the extra hidden charges. My startup used their office space for 2 months and upon our move out at the end they charged us for things we were never ever made aware of. Even charged us $30 a month for coffee which we never drank which we told was free when we moved in. They hit us with $250 move out fee which we were never told about. Worst experience ever and no one tried to help us to make things better. Startups please consider a place which is more honest and upfront, don't use Regus they are trash! read more

Regus makes their employees go online and do reviews and posts to Cragislist. Do not trust all the 5 star reviews. They even make them post on Craigslist when they have no vacancy in order to dominate that channel. They are an OK place to work. Watch out for all the small charges. Its nice. If you are a one man shop that is part of Three Letter mega corp and don't care about money: not a bad place. Else look for a better value for the cash. I've been a tenant at a down town Regus location for more than 4 years... here are the Pros: Location Casual environment Lots of interesting neighbors (other companies and people on the floor or in the building) Cons: They try to raise the rent to "market" every time your lease is up and have weird rules about when and how you can re-negotiate. They charge you an exit fee if you move offices inside the same floor. You pay fees for kitchen services but the kitchen is often dirty and missing silver ware for some reason... which they replace with plastic ware. They don't recycle cans, bottles etc. They try to charge you exorbitant fees for unreliable internet services. Their customer service for handling bills (they frequently charge for things that you didn't know you'd be charged for or, simply make mistakes) is terrible. read more

I have just completed my 6-month lease with Regus downtown at 111 Congress. Great facility, horrible management. As a local business person, I place a great deal of importance on honest communication and integrity. Two qualities that management team at Regus severely lack. Granted, I understand their business is based on temporary need with a high turnover in clientele. Still, this does not explain the need to bury expensive clauses into the lease contract. Regus embedded two clauses in my contract that I am not happy with. A "business continuation" clause and a "wear and tear" clause. The business continuation clause locks you into a $250/month service for 3 months following your lease. This service basically only forwards your mail and phone calls. Great deal huh? In addition, they charged me $250 for Wear & Tear regardless of the condition of the office. Not as bad as the Business Continuation Service but still annoying. Neither of these clauses was pointed out to me on the lease. Shame on me for not reading every detail. In addition, neither clause has a price associated with it in the lease agreement. As I am typing this I just received a call from Regus that my choice of having my voice mails forwarded to me via email incurs an additional $1 per email fee on top of the $250/mo.
