After almost 2 weeks in Turkiye, we were hankering for something other than kebap. We did not want to waste time heading over to the other side of Istanbul, so I did a quick search and we found a Neapolitan pizza spot 20 minutes away from our hotel. My husband and I hopped in an UBER taxi and were whisked over to Spada Di Napoli Pizzeria. It's located in a neighborhood and is fairly small. They have a large pizza oven and we sat down at one of the tables outside. The menu was in Turkish so I used my translating app to order the standard margherita pizza. I also ordered some tea. The pizza came out fresh from the oven. It was delicious! The tea came with packets of sugar so I swirled some in before trying it. It was refreshing. I think I like their tea more than their coffee here. The pizza is legit good so I hope it does well. We enjoyed it and even found a cat nearby enjoying pizza left out for it too. Our meal was less than $11 USD. read more
