We have been at this facility for 2 years and could not be happier! We started when our oldest was 16 months and also now have our second child there since the infant room. The moment you walk in, it just feels different than other daycare facilities, warm, nurturing and so clean. Everyone knows our girls and are excited to see them and teach them each day. We have been at Spanish For Fun in Wake Forest for almost a month now, and it has been nothing short of incredible. Before we even started, the director had a meeting with us to go over everything and answer any questions we had. We felt so at ease sending our child there, already knowing the attention to detail that Spanish For Fun has. The teachers in her infant room are amazing--they were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we stepped foot in the room. They have loved on our girl just as much as we do and truly treat her like their own. We love how strong the two-way communication is, and how we are working together to do what is best for our child. Again, our experience so far at Spanish For Fun in Wake Forest has been nothing short of amazing, and we could not be happier to be part of the Spanish For Fun family! read more

We cannot say enough about this preschool. We are new to the area and had our son in another preschool in Wake Forest/Heritage area. Unfortunately. Even though the curriculum was good at the other preschool their approach to COVID safety protocols were a little skewed. We decided to start looking for another preschool that were following safety guidelines for COVID, but also with a great curriculum. After some searching and seeing the new location, we decided to try Spanish for fun. We have been so impressed with their attention to detail not only with the students but also with parents. They have complete and open dialogue. Making it easy to discuss anything that might come up. Our son has been enrolled for over a month and is speaking in Spanish quite well. We were worried it might be overwhelming for him and he absolutely loves it!! He is constantly telling us how to "correctly" pronounce the words he is learning. They are not only learning Spanish, but are still learning reading, stem, and social emotional development. Being that the facility is new they have a much better/easier approach with sanitization (brand new machine that they can put A LOT of toys and equipment in to sanitize). A HUGE indoor gym with rock climbing wall, a soon to be installed splash pad. They also have extra measures in security where you have to scan your phone to check in and enter a code. Cameras in every classroom if you or grandma want to check in. Really the facility is amazing!! We would highly recommend this preschool for anyone who is wanting a loving, safe, and academically fun school. read more

Unfortunately I have had a horrible experience with Spanish for fun wake forest. I think the baby room and 1-2 year old room parents have better experiences than many parents in the 3 and 4 year old room. While I struggled with the choice to write this review I realize it's important to make others in the community aware of what I experienced. I'm sure others have had a very different outcome. I had two children enrolled there in September of 2015 and was tempted to pull them out immediately when I saw kids hitting one another in the 3 year old class, kids throwing tantrums, chaos--all with no teacher intervention. While it is normal for children ages 3 and 4 to have trouble sharing and expressing their emotions it is not normal for a child care provider to do NOTHING to teach social skills, how to play with friends, how to not hit etc. My 3 year old never acted out in school until week 5 at this location. I let the director convince to me stay enrolled multiple times over the 5 months we went here. I kept going to her letting her know it wasn't working and I was concerned for my daughter. She promised many changes that never happened. Finally I stopped listening to these promises and pulled my kids out mid month February and just decided to not worry about the money I was losing. I alerted them by phone and email. Asked for a call back or email back. No contact from the site director or the regional director with answers to issues with billing or my daughters belongings until the first week in March. I explained the problem to the regional director (Paval?sp?) and was promised a call back within a week. Have never heard from them again. The worst part of this school and this situation is not only how many bad habits my daughter picked up and how it put her at a disadvantage for behaviors in kindergarten but how they have yet to call me back to allow me to come pick up her art work and crafts. It's been 6 weeks so they probably threw it all away by now. My daughter is so upset she can't get her artwork from this school. I went by there and asked for it, called and emailed 2 times , I've been waiting more than 4 weeks for a call. No contact from them at all now that they know we will not come back. What a horrible thing to take out on a child. It shows me that all the caring conversations the director had with me were financially motivated only. This location is sweet as can be when they are charging you thousands of dollars per month to have your kids run wild with no structure or rules. I'd like to advise all parents to look elsewhere. The teachers are very nice but being nice to a parent does not make you qualified to work with children at such an important age. As an educator I can confidently say they do not know how to work with preschool children. I've been supervising elementary and preschool teachers for 10 years and have two advances degrees in education so I am giving my opinion as a parent and an educator here. It's a shame because with structure it could be a great center. Many other parents have expressed the same feelings to me about the chaos and bad habits from SFF. My daughter now behaves wonderfully at a preschool with social skill curriculum and properly trained teachers. It took about 2 weeks to break most of the habits. We are still working on some issues from SFF but there has been a tremendous change in these past few weeks. I'm glad I didn't let the center convince me to stay longer. 5 months was too long. I guess I'll never hear about my daughters artwork and any other belongings. read more

My 3.5 year old son has been going to SFF! Wake Forest since he was 18 months old. He has been in 3 classrooms, Mariquitas (1-2 year olds), Monitos (2-3 year olds), and now Sapitos (3-4 year olds). The experience in all 3 classrooms have exceeded my expectations as a parent, and his experience in the Sapitos class currently run by Ms. Paula has been his favorite to date. The love Ms. Paula has for the children and they have for her in return is palpable. I see it every day. My son and his classmates light up like lightning bugs around her and she envelops each of them with such loving care. Each of the teachers are native speakers with college and, in some cases, graduate degrees. The entire staff has been extremely caring and flexible, and have catered to our family's unique and changing needs over the past 2 years. Not only are the people wonderful and highly capable, but also the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and secure. The classrooms are bright, clean, and filled with art made by the children. The outdoor play areas are adjacent to the classrooms and used frequently. Doors at the entrance require special codes and the classroom cameras are accessible to parents/guardians via cell phone and computers, offering anytime monitoring of each classroom. For these reasons, I strongly believe there is no better full-immersion Spanish preschool in the Wake Forest/North Raleigh area and this is the best place for my son to learn and grow. read more

We feel so fortunate a friend told us about Spanish for fun. We began in 2012 with our first child and now have two enrolled, soon to be three. As we have moved around Raleigh, we have had the pleasure of experiencing the Duraleigh, Glenwood and now Wake Forest locations. Each center is teeming with friendly and knowledgeable staff, most experienced mothers. Not only do I feel my children are learning in a safe, diverse, unique environment, but also that they are absolutely adored by the staff. Picking up the children after a long day and still seeing the staff with big smiles and hugs for the everyone is wonderful. I love hearing my children's language skills progress in both English and Spanish; and the weekly teaching plans seem fun and engaging. We feel lucky to be a part of the Spanish for fun family! read more

My 3 and 4 year old sons have been going there since we moved from NJ and I can say that Spanish for Fun is simply the BEST pre-school you'll find in the Wake Forest/Wakefield area! My daughter has been at SFF Wake Forest for 1 1/2 years now. She aged through several classrooms, and our experience in each has been wonderful. The teachers and administration are extremely accommodating, loving, and supportive of the children and families. The school supports cultural enrichment with numerous family-oriented programs throughout the year. Our daughter has thrived in this environment, and her mastery of both languages has been impressive. She is excited for school daily, and absolutely loves all of her teachers. Thanks SFF! read more
